There is provided a headphone or headset comprising at least one housing, at least one microphone for detecting interference sound, at least one active noise compensation unit for implementing active noise compensation based on the interference sound detected by the at least one microphone and for the output of a compensation signal. The headphone or the headset has at least one electroacoustic reproduction transducer for output of the compensation signal from the noise compensation unit and a circumaural cushion having a recess for receiving a spectacles side arm. The active noise compensation unit is adapted in noise compensation to take account of the effect of the recess in the ear cushion.

Disclosed is a headset, and a method of switching a first input signal for a left ear and a second input signal for a right ear of a user.

Headset

The invention relates to a headset comprising at least one earphone and a headset microphone for registering voice signals of the headset wearer. The headset microphone is fixed to one of the earphones. The earphone comprises at least one electroacoustic transducer, a rear volume, and a front volume which lies in front of the electroacoustic transducer. A first channel runs from the exterior through the earphone to the front volume. In addition, at least one acoustic filter and/or a microphone is arranged inside the first channel, in which a mechanical filter which protects against dirt and/or moisture is also disposed.

In-ear headset and in-ear earphone

An electrodynamic acoustic transducer with a coil which projects into an air gap subject to an electromagnetic field, wherein an acoustic short circuit is prevented. The electrodynamic transducer has a membrane comprising two differently profiled portions, an acoustically effective central portion with a convexity in form of a spherical cap, and a ring-shaped bead which borders the central portion and serves to elastically support the membrane. The ring-shaped bead is arranged beneath the central portion and extends radially inwards starting from a coil seat of the coil. The air gap is sealed by means of a liquid or solid medium, such as ferrofluid, such that an acoustic short circuit between the front volume and the rear volume of the transducer is prevented.
