A tensioning device () for a traction mechanism drive () which is arranged on an internal combustion engine and includes a drive wheel () arranged on a drive shaft () of an engine (), one or more additional driving wheels (), and a continuously revolving traction element (), which wraps around the drive wheel and additional driving wheels. The tensioning device has two tensioning arms () having tensioning wheels () mounted thereon, which apply a tensioning force to the traction element in front of and behind the drive wheel in the direction of revolution, and is provided with a spring () generating the tensioning force, and a tensioner housing (), which movably mounts at least one of the tensioning arms to which the force of the spring means is applied. The tensioner housing is mounted on the engine pivotably about the axis () of the drive shaft.

Tensioning device for a traction mechanism drive of an internal combustion engine

A tensioning device () is provided for a starter generator drive belt of an internal combustion engine and a starter generator () equipped with such a tensioning device. It includes a tensioning housing () with two belt pulleys () and a bearing support () fastened at the machine housing () of the starter generator, on which the tensioning housing is pivotally supported via a friction bearing.

A tensioner for a belt, a chain or the like, which has a tensioning lever that is in operative connection with a helical spring, is pivotable about a fixed axis and on the tensioning lever a receptacle for a tensioning element that bears against the belt, chain or the like is arranged. The helical spring is held at its ends by spring receptacles with the helical spring being screwed to at least one of the spring receptacles. This construction ensures a reliable and easy-to-assemble connection between the helical spring and the spring receptacle is achieved.

The invention relates to a clamping device comprising a pivoting arm on which a clamping roll is rotatably arranged. In order to damp pivoting movements of the pivoting arm, a damping device is provided in the region of a pivoting axis X. Furthermore, the pivoting arm is supported by a tension spring device which ensures a frictional arrangement of the clamping roll on a traction mechanism, in the assembled state.

A tensioner (') for a traction mechanism such as a belt, chain or the like, with a tensioning lever () which can be acted on by a helical spring (), can pivot about a stationary shaft and on which a tensioning element is provided for abutment against the traction mechanism to be tensioned. The helical spring () is held at its ends by spring receptacles () and a means () is provided for delimiting the spring excursion.

A tensioning device for a traction mechanism, particularly a belt or a chain, including a tensioning lever over which the traction mechanism is guided and on which a tensioning spring is disposed with one end thereof, the other end thereof being provided on a spring holder by which the tensioning device can be fastened to an external object. A holding pin () extends through the tensioning spring (), with the pin at one end () thereof being disposed in a fixed position on the tensioning lever () and at the other end thereof having a locking section () disposed on a locking element () provided on a spring holder (). The locking element can be adjusted between a locking position of the holding pin end (), in which the tensioning device () is fixed in a position with the pretensioned tensioning spring (), and a released position of the holding pin end (), in which the holding pin () is axially displaceable in the locking element (), and limited by a stop.

Tensioning device for a traction mechanism, particularly a belt or a chain

A clamping device with mechanical damping for a traction mechanism drive is provided. The device includes a clamping arm which carries a tension roller on one end thereof and is rotatably mounted in a housing at the other end thereof via a shaft connected thereto in a rotationally fixed manner, and is elastically supported on the housing by a torsion spring. A free end of the shaft is connected to a friction disk in a rotationally fixed manner, and a friction lining is arranged between the friction disk and an axial abutment surface of the housing. The invention reduces the friction lining wear and increases the damping capacity thereof. To accomplish this, a separate friction disk (&#x2033;&#x2033;) is connected to a separate friction lining (&#x2033;&#x2033;) in a positively locked manner without play, and the separate friction lining ((&#x2033;&#x2033;) is in frictional contact with the axial abutment surface () of the housing ().
