A forage harvester that includes a cutterhead assembly and two frame parts between which the cutterhead assembly is rotatably suspended. The forage harvester assembly is held on both frame parts by a clamp bearing that defines a rotary axis. Contact points between an element on the frame part side and an element on the assembly side of the clamp bearing lie on a spherical surface centered on the rotary axis.

A forage harvester includes a post-accelerator disposed in an interior of the forage harvester, which post-accelerator includes a conveying fan that rotates about a rotary axle. The post-accelerator is partially enclosed by a housing that is open in sections and that extends in sections into a crop-conveyance path. An extent of the extension into the crop-conveying path is adjusted by displacing the post-accelerator relative to the housing. The forage harvester also includes a wall disposed opposite an open section. The rotary axle includes ends that are mounted in bearing supports disposed on the housing via one end to be pivotable about a pivot axle. Each of the bearing supports are connected to an actuator at a free end opposing the one end disposed on the housing.

An agricultural harvesting machine includes a working assembly for processing a crop flow and a discharge accelerator for the processed crop that is designed as a unit to be installed in its entirety into an operating position (P) downstream of the working assembly in the flow path of the crop stream. The discharge accelerator unit is readily deinstalled from the operating position (P).
