A lamella collimator, in particular for a beam therapy appliance, is provided. The lamella collimator has a plurality of lamellae, which can be moved by a motor or motors in a movement direction in order to preset a countour of a beam path on an X-ray beam. Each lamella has a position measurement apparatus with a movable measurement element, which is attached directly to the respective lamella.

A device for supporting a patient is used with a computer-tomography (CT) device. The patient to be examined is to be introduced into an opening in a gantry of the CT device. The patient supporting device has a height-adjustable device disposed laterally with respect to the gantry opening and permits the height of a support for a patient to be adjusted. A support arm extends from the height-adjustable device to a fixture for supporting a stretcher and is rotatable with respect to the height adjustable device.

An above table transillumination device has an X ray radiator that can be rotated around the horizontal axis of the radiator stand and that has a swivel lock having a manually actuatable unlocking lever. The unlocking lever is arranged at the front side of the radiator carrier facing away from the radiator stand and is connected to the lever of the swivel lock via a transmission device.

In a method and device for positioning the level of a slice during the generation of a slice exposure of an examination subject with an x-ray examination device, a reference image of the exterior of the examination subject is recorded by a camera on a line of sight proceeding transverse to the direction of examination. The slice level of a subsequent slice exposure is determined using a slice level marking within the reference image.

A modular X-ray diagnostic appliance has as a first module, a base support, as second module, at least one support for the base support, as a third module, at least one component of an X-ray imaging device, as a fourth module, a support device for an object to be examined, and, as a fifth module, a longitudinal carriage which is arranged above the base support and on which the component is mounted. The base support has support-device coupling elements for coupling the support device thereto, support-coupling elements for coupling the support thereto and component-coupling elements for coupling the component thereto. The component-coupling elements have a fixed and/or floating bearing arranged on the base support and connected to the longitudinal carriage. In a method for producing different series of X-ray diagnostic appliances, in which a structurally identical modular base support and a structurally identical modular support device are used for all series.

An x-ray diagnostic device having a positioning plate for an examination subject mounted to as to be adjustable at a base has a radiation receiver implemented as a solid state detector that is mounted at the base via a gallows frame so as to be adjustable with respect to the positioning plate.

Image receiver for a radiology system, particularly a solid-state detector, has a raster that can be arranged in front of the receiver plane in the beam path and that can be moved into a standby position outside of the beam path when not in use, wherein a standby receptacle mount for the raster is provided in the receiver housing, on the side of the recording cassette that faces away from the radiation source.

In a radiation protection arrangement for an x-ray diagnostics installation, at least one x-ray impenetrable strap is pivotably seated at a carrier, this being movable along a guide rail via the carrier. A brake arrangement for the carrier is provided which at least impedes movement of the carrier along the guide rail when the component of the installation on which the radiation protection arrangement is carried is adjusted in position. At least two x-ray impenetrable straps can be provided, each being pivotably seated at a carrier, whereby a formed part is provided in the region of the carrier which effects a diversion of each strap during pivoting. Each strap can be capable of being folded over and fixed in the folded-over condition, so that an opening to the examination region is produced.
