A control valve for a pump for delivering a fluid. The control valve includes: a valve housing which delineates a piston chamber; a piston which can be moved within the piston chamber; and a fluid channel which ports into the piston chamber via a port opening, wherein the port opening defines a port control edge. The valve housing includes a recess which extends into the fluid channel, wherein the recess defines a recess control edge which is axially offset with respect to the port control edge, and/or the piston includes a piston recess which defines a piston recess control edge.

A rotary pump, preferably a vacuum pump, featuring: a delivery space including an inlet on a low-pressure side and an outlet on a high-pressure side of the pump; a rotor which is arranged in the delivery space and delivers a fluid from the inlet into the delivery space to the outlet from the delivery space; at least one housing part which delineates the delivery space at least axially; and a drive shaft which is connected in drive terms to the rotor; including at least one sealing element which is connected, secured against shifting and/or rotating, to the drive shaft and/or rotor and forms a radial sealing gap with the housing part.

A pump which exhibits an adjustable delivery volume, the pump including (a) a pump housing comprising a delivery chamber; (b) a delivery rotor which can be rotated about a rotary axis within the delivery chamber, for delivering the fluid; (c) an adjusting device, including: (c1) an adjusting member which can be adjusted in the pump housing in order to adjust the delivery volume of the pump; (c2) a first setting chamber for generating a first setting pressure for adjusting the adjusting member; (c3) and a second setting chamber for generating a second setting pressure for adjusting the adjusting member; (d) a fluidically operable valve for adjusting the setting pressure of the first setting chamber; (e) and an electromagnetic valve, comprising: a pressure port for a setting fluid which is diverted from the high-pressure side; and a relief port for the setting fluid.

Pump exhibiting an adjustable delivery volume

A rotary pump with an improved seal on a control pressure chamber, including: a housing having a delivery chamber; a feed wheel rotatable in the delivery chamber; an actuating member surrounding the feed wheel forming delivery cells and moveable in the housing relative to the feed wheel. The control pressure chamber is delineated by the actuating member together with axially facing axial co-operating surfaces, forming an axial sealing gap and a radial sealing gap. A control fluid can be introduced into the control pressure chamber for applying pressure to the actuating member to exert an actuating force in the actuating direction; a restoring device for generating a restoring force; and a sealing element arranged on the actuating member or the circumferential co-operating surface. To compensate for a change in gap width of one of the axial sealing gaps, a base leakage cross-section is provided on the sealing element.
