An assembly comprising a flexible hose () and a control unit (), a heating wire () being guided along an axial direction of the hose and embedded. The control unit is designed to deliver electrical power to the heating wire, in order to heat a medium conveyed by the dispensing hose or an outer surface of the hose. A dispensing system (') for delivering an aqueous urea solution and/or for delivering a compressed or liquefied gas. The dispensing system comprises a conveying device for the operating fluid, a dispensing valve () for discharging the operating fluid, and a flexible dispensing hose () which connects the conveying device to the dispensing valve to allow positioning of the dispensing valve on a filler neck of a vehicle tank.

Dispensing system for delivering an operating fluid

The present invention relates to a dispensing valve for dispensing a fluid, having a housing (), a main channel () which extends therein for the fluid, a main valve which is arranged in the main channel () for controlling a fluid throughflow through the dispensing valve, a control device () for activating the main valve (), a component receiving member () which is connected to the housing () and which is provided with an inner thread and having an attachment () which is provided with an outer thread, wherein between the inner thread and the outer thread, a thread connection is produced and wherein an axial position of the attachment () can be adjusted by the inner thread being rotated relative to the outer thread. According to the invention the component receiving member () and the attachment () have angular positioning elements () which cooperate and which are configured prior to the thread connection being produced to enable an axial approach of a beginning of the thread of the outer thread to a thread entrance of the inner thread in at least one predetermined relative angular position between the inner thread and the outer thread and to prevent this in those angular positions which are different from the at least one relative angular position. As a result of the angular positioning elements, the screwing-in operation can be significantly simplified and an axial adjustment path can be adjusted in a significantly more precise manner.

Fuel nozzle

The subject of the invention is a dispensing nozzle for dispensing a fluid into a tank of a motor vehicle. The dispensing nozzle comprises the following features: According to the invention it is provided that the dispensing nozzle comprises an adjustable flow limiter () which is arranged downstream of the main valve () and which is configured to limit the fluid flow selectively to the first or second maximum volumetric flow rate. The dispensing nozzle also comprises an actuating device () which is configured for interaction with a signal element () which is assigned to the tank of the motor vehicle and for the selective adjustment of the flow limiter () to the first or the second maximum volumetric flow rate. By the provision of a flow limiter which is adjustable due to an interaction with the signal element, a rapid and reliable filling of different-sized containers containing liquid is ensured in a structurally simple manner.

The invention provides a dispensing valve or fuel nozzle having an earth (ground) cable and/or a safety cap for covering the discharge opening, the safety cap connected by a cord to the dispensing valve, wherein the dispensing valve has an automatic retraction system for the earth cable and/or the cord of said safety cap.

The invention relates to a filling nozzle for dispensing a liquid into a tank of a motor vehicle, having a main valve (). It is provided according to the invention that a safety valve () is arranged downstream of the main valve (), which safety valve can be moved from a closed position into an open position by means of an opening movement directed in an upstream direction, and that a safety device () is provided which has an operative connection to the safety valve () and which is designed to detect the insertion of the filling nozzle into a tank provided for the corresponding liquid and which effects a movement of the safety valve from the closed position into the open position when an insertion of the filling nozzle into a tank provided for the corresponding liquid is detected.

Filling nozzle

The invention relates to a dispensing valve for dispensing liquids into a reservoir container, with a main valve and with an operating lever designed for opening the main valve against a force biasing the main valve into the closed position, wherein the valve actuation mechanism has a continuous characteristic with a smooth profile, with which, when subjecting the operating lever to an actuation force at the start of a valve opening stroke, a different opening force is exerted on the main valve than when subjecting the operating lever to the same actuation force during the later course of the valve opening stroke.

Dispensing valve

A fuel hose nozzle for filling a tank having a filler the tank with liquefied petroleum gas has a tubular valve housing extending along an axis and having an outer end, a tubular valve guide axially shiftable in the valve housing between a front position and a rear position and forming an outlet port adjacent the outer end, and a valve in the housing movable between an open position permitting fluid flow into the valve guide toward the outlet end and a closed position preventing such flow. A valve piston in the valve guide and axially fixed in the valve housing is engaged in the front position of the valve guide with the port to block flow through same. A fitting sleeve surrounding and axially shiftable on the valve housing has at the outer end an end fitting complementary to the tank filler neck.

Hose fuel nozzle

In an example method for detecting the fuel quantity during the refueling of a motor vehicle, the volume of the fuel conducted to the motor vehicle during the refueling operation and the temperature of the fuel are measured. The measured volume is corrected to predetermined temperature conditions by means of the measured temperature, specifically in a monitoring unit for a gas recirculation device. Preferably, a retrofitting kit for a device for carrying out the method contains a temperature sensor and an accessory for the monitoring unit for the gas recirculation system.

Method for detecting the fuel quantity during the refueling of a motor vehicle

A gas recirculation system at a filling station is controlled during a refuelling process by generating a corrective control signal used for the next refuelling process, to actuate the gas recirculation system and control the gas volume flow, based on the fuel volume flow signal and the gas volume flow signal as well as optionally further signals.

Method for correctively controlling gas recirculation system at filling station

A ventilation-mast monitoring system for filling stations contains a thermal through-flow measuring device () and a hydrocarbon-measuring device (). The thermal through-flow-measuring device () has a heating device and a temperature sensor which is located in the flow path and reacts to the temperature of the heating device, and is configured to sense the gas volume flow escaping from a reservoir tank () via a ventilation mast () of the reservoir tank () of a filling station or entering the reservoir tank (). The hydrocarbon-measuring device () is configured to sense the direction of the gas volume flow escaping from or entering the reservoir tank () via the ventilation mast (). A control device which is configured to receive and to process measuring signals emitted by measuring devices of the system is preferably provided as a further system component.

Ventilation mast monitoring system for filling stations

In a method of measuring the throughflow of a gas mixture, the gas mixture flows past a flow sensor which includes a heating device and a first temperature probe reacting to the temperature of the heating device. A temperature, which is characteristic of the temperature of a liquid above which the gas mixture stands as vapor, is measured with a second temperature probe. A first measurement signal characterizing the composition of the gas mixture and thus its heat dissipation capacity is produced using the known vapor-pressure curve of the liquid and the temperature of the liquid. A second measurement signal characterizing the throughflow of the gas mixture is produced using the heating power supplied to the heating device, the temperature of the first temperature probe and the first measurement signal. The method can be used when monitoring the gas return to a filling system and when controlling the gas pump used therein.
