Techniques and solutions are provided for processing query requests from a software application, such as one having a user interface model, using an analytical data protocol that accesses an analytic query. Often, user interface models access data using transactional data protocols, which can limit analytical actions that can be performed through a user interface, particularly actions altering data presented or a data format as compared with pre-defined analytical objects. A query request associated with a user interface query model is received and converted to be executable using at least one analytical query model object. The request, in an analytical protocol, is submitted to a virtual data model. The query request in the analytical protocol is converted to be used with an analytic query defined in the virtual data model. The converted query request is executed against a data store and query results are returned to a user interface layer.

Data retreival framework and use thereof

Techniques and solutions are provided to assist users in creating an instance of a model object definition that can be used in generating user interface displays using data accessed using an analytic query. Often, the development of user interface displays, including binding aspects of a display to data, requires significant technical knowledge, and the user interface displays and supporting objects are often hardcoded for particular use scenarios. Disclosed techniques facilitate the creation of user interface displays by allowing users to select particular definitional elements of analytic queries and analytical data objects defined with respect thereto. The definitional elements are stored in an instance of a model object definition. Using disclosed techniques, users can create and modify user interface displays using a low code/no code approach.

User interface models providing dynamic analytical capability

Techniques and solutions are provided for updating or augmenting consolidated data that is produced using base data. The consolidated data can include data that is aggregated by various grouping criteria. After a set of consolidated data is determined, the base data may change, one or more rules used to calculate the consolidated data may change, or it may be desired to see data that is more granular than that included in the consolidated data. After consolidated data is provided to a user, a user issues a data augmentation request. The data augmentation request causes the base data, which may have been updated, to be processed to provide updated data, where the processing includes grouping operations used in producing the consolidated data. The updated data is provided to a client in response to the data augmentation request.

A method, a system, and a computer program product for generating and using contextual and adaptable parameters for monitoring of various processes. A plurality of standard parameters for use during execution of a computing process by a computing system are received. At least one standard parameter in the plurality of standard parameters is modified in accordance with one or more contextual features associated with the execution of the computing process. The computing process is executed by the computing system using a combination of at least one standard parameter in the plurality of standard parameters and the at least one modified parameter.

In one aspect, a method is described that includes receiving, at a data warehouse, a query associated with a view for a report being presented at a client device user interface; processing, by the data warehouse, the query to identify data responsive to the query; evaluating the identified responsive data to determine whether there is corresponding metadata indicating a portion of the identified responsive data includes blocked natural persons data; when the blocked natural persons data is determined, evaluating the corresponding metadata to determine whether the block is a total block or a partial block; generating, based on the evaluated metadata, a result set including a predetermined value to mask the blocked natural persons data; and providing the generated result set including the predetermined result set to a server handling the view. Disclosed is an exemplary computer program application, system and method for a unified approach to managing data from heterogeneous sources. The system includes a central, semantic data storage basing on a directed labeled graph model, a module for accessing data sources by drawing access and mapping configuration from the data storage and loading the resulting data into the data storage and a unified user interface that treats each graph node in the data storage as a separate term, visualizes and modified the term's context in the data graph using configurable user interface widgets.

For operating system mobility across heterogeneous computing platforms, a method may include periodically identifying whether an operating system is active until a determination that the operating system is inactive. Upon the determination that the operating system is inactive, one of a plurality of boot profiles that are each stored in association with a respective one of a plurality of computing platforms may be selected. The at least one boot profile may be associated with a target computing platform. The selected boot profile may be used in a booting process for booting the operating system on the target computing platform.

Among other disclosed subject matter, a system for instantiating at least one solution includes a plurality of preconfigured templates representing operating systems and business systems and comprising preconfigured system images and data images, each of the preconfigured templates adapted for use in instantiating an instantiation system in any of multiple pools isolated from each other. The system includes an infrastructure service for customizing and configuring the instantiation system in one of the pools as instantiated using any of the preconfigured templates. The system includes a virtualization allocator that allocates the instantiation system to a selection from among physical servers and virtual servers.
