A control valve unit includes a valve rod sealed from a valve housing via a seal assembly. The seal assembly has a packing, received axially between a pressure sleeve and a counter bearing on the valve housing. The pressure sleeve is movably and axially mounted via a pressing element relative to the valve housing and transmits a pressing force to the pressure sleeve by a spring element to the packing. The spring element is supported on a pretensioning device with an adjustable distance to the counter bearing. The pressing force of the spring element on the pressure sleeve is adjustable and the spring element is arranged axially between first and second stops of the pretensioning device. In a preinstalled state of the pretensioning device, the spring element is supported on the first and second stops. In an operating state, the second stop is at a fixed distance to the first stop in the direction of the counter bearing. The change in the axial position of the pressure sleeve is limited by the second stop and at a distance to the pressure element in the direction of the counter bearing.

Control valve unit

Electropneumatic solenoid valve includes an electromagnetic actuator with an energizable coil and a solenoid armature movable relative to the coil, an air chamber with three air channels, and a valve member. The three air channels include first and second air channels and a control air channel. The valve member, in a first closed position, closes the first air channel and releases the second air channel and which, in a second closed position, closes the second air channel and releases the first air channel. The valve further includes a driver movable in a first and second actuating directions and that connects the valve member to the solenoid armature, a driver-pretensioning spring arranged between the driver and the solenoid armature, to provide a pretensioning force to the driver, and a restoring spring between the driver and the electromagnetic actuator to provide a restoring force to the driver against the driving direction.

Control valve assembly for controlling a process fluid flow in a process engineering plant such as a power plant, a chemical plant, a food processing plant or the like, wherein at least one fine-adjustment poppet valve with a fine-adjustment drive for the fine adjustment of a fine-adjustment poppet valve flow area; and at least one open/close poppet valve having a discrete adjustment actuator for placing the open/close poppet valve either into an open position, in which a poppet valve flow area is completely open, or into a closed position, in which the poppet valve flow area is closed off, wherein a cumulative total flow area of the adjustment valve assembly is defined by the fine-adjustment poppet valve flow area of the at least one fine-adjustment poppet valve and by the poppet valve flow area of the at least one open/close poppet valve.

Control valve assembly and method for operating a control valve assembly

An adjustable electro-pneumatic converter or transducer based on the nozzle/baffle plate principle is proposed. A defined roughness (Rz) of the baffle plate surface can prevent the occurrence of Bernoulli forces at output pressures close to the initial pressure, i.e. when the exhaust nozzle () is almost completely closed by the baffle plate (). The system thus becomes more dynamically controllable under these conditions. Such a converter can be used to control any consumer system, e.g. air power amplifiers for electro-pneumatic positioners.

A pneumatic valve arrangement for a pneumatically operated field device, such as a control device, of a processing plant, such as a chemical plant, a foodstuff processing plant, a power plant or the like is disclosed. The valve arrangement may include an air supply conduit for receiving pressurized air from a source of pressurized air, a control air conduit for aerating and venting a pneumatic actor of the field device, and a venting conduit for discharging pressurized air to a pressure sink, such as the atmosphere; a venting valve for opening and/or closing the venting conduit and an aerating valve for opening and/or closing the air supply conduit; and a pivotable carrier lever for common actuation of the aerating valve and of the venting valve, wherein the carrier lever holds the venting valve in its closed position while it opens the aerating valve from its closed position.

Pneumatic valve arrangement

An electromagnetic impact valve arrangement for a pneumatically operated field device of a processing plant, such as a chemical plant, a food-processing plant, a power plant can include an air chamber into which three air conduits lead. The three air conduits can include an air supply conduit to receive compressed air from a compressed air supply source, a control air conduit to aerate and vent a pneumatic actuator of the field device, and a venting conduit to output compressed air to a pressure sink, such as the atmosphere. The impact valve arrangement can also include a first electromagnetic impact valve ('aeration impact valve') to open and/or close the air supply conduit and a second electromagnetic impact valve ('ventilation impact valve') to open and/or close the venting conduit. The first impact valve and the second impact valve can be electromagnetically coupled to one another.

The invention relates to a valve () for operating a pressurizing medium driven actuator of a process control valve for technical process equipment, comprising a valve seat () in a basic valve body (), a closing body () and an electromagnetic drive (), which closing body () is ball -shaped and cooperates with a valve seat () so as to block the flow from an inlet side to an outlet side, said closing body () cooperating with a piston surface () which can be moved within a piston chamber () connected to the inlet side, characterized in that a connecting element () is provided between the closing body () and the piston surface () which is actively connected to an armature () of an electromagnetic linear direct drive, with a coil assembly () being embedded in the basic valve body () and a magnetic field with alternating polarity in the axial direction being present at the armature ().

Valve

An electropneumatic solenoid valve for a pneumatically-actuated field device can include air channels, a flapper valve member, an electromagnetic controller, and a spring. An air supply channel, air dispensing channel and air exhaust channel can be mound into an air chamber. The flapper valve member can include a closure element arranged on an axial control direction and be engageable with a delimitation interior wall mouth of one of the air channels such that the flapper valve member is arranged with a circumferential axial distance to the delimitation interior wall. The electromagnetic controller can displace the flapper valve member in the axial control direction to ventilate/exhaust the air dispensing channel. The spring can bias the flapper valve member into a closed position to close closing the one of the air channels. The flapper valve member can be float-mounted in an unguided configuration except for spring within the air chamber.

An electropneumatic magnet valve for a pneumatically actuated field device can include a valve member, an electromagnetic controller, a magnet valve member, and an activator. The valve member can be moveable between at least two operating positions for ventilating and/or exhausting a magnet valve exit. The electromagnetic controller can move the valve member between the operating positions. The magnet valve member operator can move, additionally with respect to the electromagnetic controller, the valve member independently of an operation of the electromagnetic controller. The valve member operator can include an activator to selectively generate/provide a magnetic field for contact free operation of the valve member via which the magnet valve member operator is changeable between a passive operating condition and an active operating condition.

Electropneumatic magnet valve

In a torsional moment and angle sensor for determining a torsional moment to be transferred from a drive member to a driven member, an at least partially circumferential drive side encoder ring section is provided. A contactless sensor scans the drive side encoder ring section. A driven side encoder ring section is provided via which an angular position of the driven member is scanned. The sensor for scanning the drive side encoder ring section is coupled to the drive side encoder ring section via a torsion spring bridge having a predetermined torsional elasticity.

Torsional moment and angle sensor and actuator drive

In a spring body for a force transducer built into a force-transmitting part, a force-input section is provided for receiving a force, a force-output section for transmitting the force, and an elastic deformation body arranged therebetween which couples the force-output section to the force-input section such that the force received by the force-input section is transmitted to the force-output section. The elastic deformation body performs a predetermined elastic deformation movement caused by the force to be transmitted at at least one point. A coding sampling section is provided at the at least one point of the deformation body and which follows deformation movements of the at least one point.

Spring body for a force transducer, such as a torque-and/or tension/compression-force measuring cell

In an electropneumatic field device for controlling a pneumatic actuator, an energy transducer is provided which converts pneumatic energy into electrical energy. The energy transducer has a working chamber with a pneumatic compressed air inlet via which a compressed air impulse is introduced, a reset chamber, a coil, an armature separating the working chamber and the reset chamber and guided for translational back and forth movement, and a permanent magnet so that electric energy is induced in the coil. The pneumatic compressed air inlet is configured such that the compressed air impulse leaving the compressed air inlet has an inflow direction angle into the working chamber which has an axial angular direction component which is parallel to a translational axial movement direction of the armature.

Electropneumatic field device

In an electropneumatic field device for controlling a pneumatic actuator, an energy converter converts pneumatic energy of a pneumatic power supply of the actuator into electrical energy. An oscillating permanent magnet receives a compressed air pulse to perform a forward motion. A return device transmits a return force to the oscillating permanent magnet for performing a return motion opposite to the forward motion. An electrical voltage is induced into a coil of the energy converter by the forward and return motions of the oscillating permanent magnet. The return device is designed to generate a magnetic field that is polarized with respect to the oscillating permanent magnet such that a magnetic repulsion return force induces the return motion.

The invention relates to a process valve () comprising a valve seat (), a flow restrictor (), a valve rod () and a drive unit () acting thereon, with a force measuring device () being connected between said drive unit () and said flow restrictor (). The invention is characterized in that said force measuring device () includes a spring (), and said force measuring device () comprises a travel measuring device () so as to allow the force acting on it to be determined based on the change in the deflection of the spring () caused by the force acting on it.

Process valve including a force measuring device

In an actuating drive or method for capturing a position of a final control element to be positioned by a drive member of the actuating drive, the final control element is pushed from an initial position to a target position by a spring body acting on the drive member. A first reference position is spatially configured in a vicinity of or at the spring body. A second reference position moving relative to the first reference position during positioning movement of the drive member is spatially configured adjacent a first outer surface of the spring body. A distance between the first reference position and the second reference position is captured.
