A rotor for a cam phaser, the rotor rotating about a rotation axis and the rotor including a first face; a receiving face arranged opposite to the first face; a central portion; at least one lobe that is arranged at the central portion and which extends away from the central portion in a radial direction; and a cam shaft receiving recess provided at the receiving face and configured to receive a cam shaft, wherein the cam shaft receiving recess includes an inside surface, wherein at least two cam shaft centering elements are arranged at the inside surface for centering the cam shaft, and wherein the cam shaft centering elements are configured as protrusions. The invention also relates to a joining kit.

Rotor for cam phaser with improved geometry

The invention relates to a rotor for a cam phaser wherein the rotor is provided for a rotation about a rotation axis and includes at least one first vane essentially radially extending away from the rotation axis, wherein a surface of the rotor includes at least one first face, at least one second face that is parallel to the first face, at least one first outer circumferential partial surface of the first vane, wherein a protrusion profile is provided at the surface. The invention also relates to a method for producing the rotor.

Rotor for a cam phaser with improved properties

A freeze-resistant metering valve is provided that comprises a magnetic part and a hydraulic part. The magnetic part has an armature biased by a spring. The hydraulic part has an annular space for receiving and conveying a liquid as well as a tappet facing a valve seat. The valve seat comprises a nozzle opening on the side facing away from the tappet. In a currentless state, the tappet blocks the annular space in the direction of an opening (nozzle opening) until a freezing pressure exerted onto the armature generates a sufficient force by virtue of the solidifying liquid. This force is used to counteract the spring force until a freeze expansion space is created by way of a relieving motion.

Freeze-resistant metering valve

A filter cartridge for liquid media at risk for freezing employed in fuel cell operated vehicles and internal combustion engines has a housing and a filter lid connected to the housing for closing the housing. A filter insert is inserted into the housing and provided with at least one filter element and terminal parts. The filter element is positioned between the terminal parts. The filter insert also has at least one pretensioning part for axially pretensioning the at least one filter element. At least one reinforcement part is provided that has at least one profiled section. It is inserted into the filter element and receives at least one of torque and axial forces. This prevents twisting of the filter element and improves the sealing action and the filter function.

Filter cartridge for liquid media at risk for freezing, particularly for use in fuel cell operated vehicles and in internal combustion engines

A filter unit for liquids undergoing freezing for a metering unit of an exhaust gas treatment unit has a housing having an outer member and a lid member. At least one filter insert is arranged in the housing. An elastically deformable casing part is provided that surrounds at least partially the filter insert. The elastically deformable casing part is a part of the lid member or of the outer member of the housing and is made of a thermoplastic synthetic material. When the liquid undergoes freezing and thawing in the filter unit, the elastically deformable casing part can compensate the volume changes caused by freezing and thawing.
