A valve unit () for modulating pressure in a compressed air braking system includes a brake pressure input (), a brake pressure output (), and a purge output (), an inlet valve () and an outlet valve (), both configured as a diaphragm valve, and respective precontrol valves (), which are each configured as a 3/2-way solenoid valve. For effective sound damping of the compressed air emerging into the environment when the outlet valve () is open, the valve unit () at the purge output () has a silencer () with a largely cylindrical silencer housing () with an inlet opening (), a calming chamber (), a large outlet opening () and a silencer insert () arranged upstream of the outlet opening () inside the silencer housing (). The silencer is air-permeable and sound-deadening and attached to the base housing () with base walls ().

Valve unit for modulating pressure in an air-brake system

For actuating a manual transmission in an automated manner, an actuator comprises a gate selection actuating cylinder for selecting a shift gate, a gear selection actuating cylinder for engaging a gear in the shift gate, and a catch device configured to releasably fix one of the gate selection actuating cylinder and a component moveable by the gate selection actuating cylinder in at least one predetermined catch position.

Transmission actuator

A method and system for determining the actuating pressure of a servo cylinder that is actuated by pressurized fluid. The actuation displacement of the servo cylinder is obtained from a sensor or other device. A pressure sensor measures inflow pressure at one point of a pressurized fluid line supplying the servo cylinder. The actuating pressure is determined based on the inflow pressure and the change in the actuation displacement of the servo cylinder.

An electric contact plug receives a tip jack input at a plug-in zone, and completes the electrical connection via a connection zone to an electronic component, such as a printed circuit board. The electric contact plug also includes an intermediate zone, connected between the plug-in zone and the connection zone. The intermediate zone is designed to deform mechanically when the plug-in zone is subjected to vibrational stresses, as typically occur in a motor vehicle. As a result, the tip jack is held securely within the plug-in zone, while the intermediate zone absorbs the effects of the vibrational stresses. Thus, the inventive electric contact plug avoids the problems of friction and corrosion within the plug-in zone. Moreover, this electric contact plug is compatible with thick-wire bonding, and can be manufactured economically.

A control system for a vehicle braking systems includes an electronic control system and a brake signal transmitter having at least one circuit actuatable by a driver of the vehicle. Each circuit of the brake signal transmitter transmits an electrical brake signal having a value which is dependent upon an actuating force and/or an actuating stroke supplied to the brake signal transmitter. The electronic control system emits at least one electrical brake actuating signal which is dependent upon the electrical brake signal transmitted by the brake signal transmitter. An electronics block which includes at least a portion of the electronic control system is provided. The brake signal transmitter and the electronics block are integrated into a combined component.
