A method for operating a parallel hybrid drive train of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine, an electric engine and an output. The electric engine being located in the power drive between the output and the internal combustion engine. A second shifting element is located between the internal combustion engine and the electric engine and a first shifting element between the electric engine and the output. Output torque driving the output can be adjusted according to the transmitting capacities of the first and second shifting elements and according to the input torque of the electric engine and/or internal combustion engine. These adjustments are corrected according to standards derived from divergences found in parameters during operation of the drive train.

Method for operating a parallel drive train of a vehicle

A method is described for operating a parallel hybrid device train () of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine (), an electric engine () and an output () wherein the electric engine () is disposed in the power train between the output () and the internal combustion engine () and both between the internal combustion engine () and the electric engine () and between the electric engine () and the output () is respectively provided a frictionally engaged shifting element (). In addition, a nominal output torque abutting on the output () can be adjusted according to the transmitting capacity of the first shifting element () located between the electric engine () and the output (). According to the invention, the transmitting capacity of the first shifting element () is adjusted under control according to the nominal input torque required so that the first shifting element () has a transmitting capacity needed for producing the nominal output torque on the output (). Furthermore, an input rotational speed of the electric engine () is adjusted under regulation during a starting process of the internal combustion engine () in order to keep the first shifting element in slip operation at least during the starting process of the internal combustion engine () and to produce the nominal output torque on the output ().

Method for operating a parallel hybrid drive train of a vehicle

New alternatives for integration of electric machines (EMto EM) in an extensively integrated dual-clutch transmission () having one dual clutch (), one first input shaft () designed as a hollow shaft and one second input shaft () co-axially supported in the first input shaft (), the same as a first countershaft () designed as a hollow shaft and a second countershaft () co-axially supported. The possibilities of construction of such dual-clutch transmission are improved, and new areas of use under limiting installation space conditions are disclosed. The efficiency of the same, relative to certain possible uses, is optimized by adequate location of at least one electric machine (EMto EM) and using it for a multiplicity of modes of operation are proposed.

Dual-clutch transmission with integrated electric machine and utilization thereof

A seal of an electric machine installed within a motor vehicle drive mechanism with of one of a wet-running oil-cooled disk gearshift element, a multiple disk clutch and a multiple disk brake being accommodated within a free space of a rotor of the electric machine. An oil free annular gap () is formed between the rotor () and the stator () of the electric machine and the annular gap () has a seal () which, at a high rate of rotation by the rotor () and depending on the type of gap seal, seals without touching.

Seal for an electric machine located within a drive train of a motor vehicle

A transmission () comprises a gear input shaft (), a gear output shaft (), several shift elements (), at least one planetary gearset () and an electrical machine (). A required gear ratio can be adjusted as a function of the activation of the shift elements (to) and the electrical machine (). The electrical machine () can be linked to a first shaft () of the first planetary gearset () by way of a first shift element () and to a second shaft () of the first planetary gearset () by way of a second shift element (). At least the first shift element () or the second shift element () is disposed in the axial direction of the gear input shaft () adjacent to the electrical machine ().
