Various embodiments of the teachings herein include an electronic module. The module may include: an electrical circuit; a first MEMS switch having a first control contact with a first switching threshold voltage; and a second MEMS switch having a second control contact with a second switching threshold voltage different than the first. The first control contact and the second MEMS switch are linked to the electrical circuit.

Electronic module and apparatus

The present invention relates to a module that has a lower component of a module () having a material () in which at least one first structural element () is embedded, and an upper component of a module () having a material () in which at least a second component () is embedded. The upper component of the module () and the lower component of the module () are stacked, with the lower and the upper component of the module () being electrically connected and mechanically linked to each other. In addition, the present invention relates to a simple and cost-effective process for the production of a variety of modules. The invention makes it possible for the modules to be miniaturized with respect to surface and height and/or makes it possible to achieve greater integration by 3D packaging.

Stacked modules

A three-dimensional arrangement for a power converter device, e.g., an inverter or a rectifier, is provided. The switching elements, activation electronics, the load connections of the power converter device are arranged on a carrier device in such a way that defines especially short conduction paths. The components of the power converter device (e.g., all required components), such as switching elements, control electronics, and load connections, are arranged on a common carrier device. The carrier device is simultaneously used as a cooling device for the entire switching device. The power converter device may thereby achieve particularly efficient performance.
