A thermal conditioning system including a heat-transfer circuit, a refrigerant circuit including successively: a compressor, a first bi-fluid exchanger and a second bi-fluid exchanger arranged jointly on the refrigerant circuit and on a main loop of the heat-transfer circuit, a first expansion valve, a third bi-fluid exchanger arranged jointly on the refrigerant circuit and on a secondary loop of the heat-transfer circuit, a first branch of the heat-transfer circuit being configured so that the heat-transfer liquid leaving the first bi-fluid exchanger returns to the first bi-fluid exchanger without passing through the second bi-fluid exchanger, and including a second heat exchanger configured to exchange with a second air flow. A second branch connects the first branch to the main loop, and includes a third heat exchanger configured to exchange with the second air flow.

Thermal conditioning system

A thermal regulation circuit for a vehicle includes a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, and a third heat exchanger. The first and the second heat exchangers are situated in series such that an ambient air flow passes through the first heat exchanger prior to passing through the second heat exchanger. The ambient air flow also passes through the third heat exchanger. The thermal regulation circuit is configured to allow a refrigerant fluid to circulate through the first heat exchanger and then the third heat exchanger. The thermal regulation circuit is configured to allow a heat-transfer fluid to circulate through the second heat exchanger.

Refrigerant circuit for a vehicle, and method for controlling such a circuit

A temperature management system for a vehicle is disclosed. The temperature management system includes a refrigerant circuit and a heat transfer fluid loop. The refrigerant circuit includes a compression device, an expansion member, a first heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the refrigerant and an air flow external to a vehicle interior, a second heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the refrigerant and the heat transfer fluid circulating in the loop, and a fourth heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the refrigerant and an air flow inside the vehicle interior. The heat transfer fluid loop includes, on a main line, the second heat exchanger and a primary radiator configured to exchange heat between the air flow external to the vehicle interior and the heat transfer fluid.

A device for air-conditioning a motor vehicle has an engine-cooling loop, a heat-pump loop containing a compressor, an evaporator as cold source of the heat pump and a condenser as hot source of the heat pump. The condenser is integrated into the engine-cooling loop upstream of the air heater. An air-conditioning branch has a condenser and an evaporator with an upstream end connected to the heat-pump loop downstream of the compressor, and a downstream end connected to the heat-pump loop upstream of the compressor. Device for heating and/or air-conditioning the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle

A motor vehicle has an air conditioning installation which also serves for heating the cabin of the vehicle. In the heating mode, the refrigerant fluid in the air conditioning circuit flows in a bypass branch which bypasses the condenser. The evaporator therefore receives the fluid in the gaseous state, and acts as a heat exchanger for dissipating the heat produced by the compressor. The heat dissipated by the evaporator can be used for heating the cabin when the heat produced by the engine of the vehicle is insufficient, and means are provided for adjusting, according to demand, the quantity of fluid contained in the heating loop of the circuit, by drawing fluid from, or passing fluid into, the branch ( ) of the circuit which contains the condenser.

A refrigerant fluid circuit for a motor vehicle includes an air conditioning loop and a heating loop, the heating loop comprising a heating branch. A variable opening valve is connected in the heating loop. This valve is controllable so as not only to control the distribution of the refrigerant fluid flowing in the circuit into the heating loop, but also to control the expansion of the fluid in its gaseous state in the heating loop in the additional heating mode.

In a heating and air conditioning installation for a motor vehicle, the refrigerant fluid circuit includes a cooling (air conditioning) loop including a condenser, and a heating loop. In order to detect excess pressure in the refrigerant fluid in the condenser, during corrective discharges of the fluid to the condenser from the heating loop, the frequency of occurrence of these discharges is monitored continuously, and an evaluation is made as to whether the measured frequency exceeds a threshold value. The outlet pressure of the compressor is also monitored continuously, an evaluation being made as to whether the measured pressure exceeds a predetermined demand pressure by an excess value over a given period of time.

Method and apparatus for detecting excessive pressure in a refrigerant fluid in the condenser of an air conditioning and heating installation

The CO,refrigerant fluid, compressed by the compressor to a supercritical pressure, is delivered through a three-way valve selectively into a cooler and/or into a bypass branch, so that in the former case, after passing through an expansion device, the fluid is vaporised in an evaporator so as to cool the cabin of the vehicle; while flow of the fluid through the bypass branch avoids the cooler so that the fluid is then cooled in the evaporator, thereby heating the cabin.

Air conditioning circuit using a refrigerant fluid in the supercritical state, in particular for a vehicle

In a motor vehicle air conditioning apparatus, the fluid flowing in the circuit of the apparatus flows in a bypass branch, bypassing the condenser, in a heating mode of the apparatus. The evaporator then receives the fluid in a gaseous state and acts as a heat exchanger for dissipating the heat produced in the compressor. The heat dissipated by the evaporator can be used for heating the cabin when that produced by the engine of the vehicle is insufficient. A control unit provides special control of the variable capacity of the compressor which is compatible with the heating mode.
