A vehicle seat longitudinal adjuster () includes two guide rail pairs (P, P) with a first guide rail () and a second guide rail () movable with respect to the first guide rail, a motor unit (), a gear unit (G) with a gear rotary shaft () connected to the first guide rail and a rotatable gear element (). A transmission unit () is coupled with the gear unit and the motor unit to transmit torque to the gear rotary shaft. A gearbox () receives the gear unit. A support () receives the gearbox inside a gap (BR) formed between the guide rails and passes through a second rail opening () and extends out of the guide rail opening and closes the second rail opening. Longitudinal adjuster for vehicle seat

A rotary joint for a vehicle seat is movable between at least two positions. The rotary joint includes an outer bearing comprising two shell halves, which, when forced together by a mechanical fastener, compress a rounded space between the two shell halves. The rotary joint further includes an inner bearing held between the two shell halves and rotatable relative to the outer bearing via rotation within the shell halves. The inner bearing includes a sleeve forming the outer surface and having an elastic property to reduce non-rotational movement outer bearing and the inner bearing.
