A device may include a receive (Rx) antenna input to couple an Rx antenna to an Rx chain, and a signal coupler to inject the test signal toward the Rx antenna. The device may include an Rx antenna switch to, in a first switch state, cause the Rx antenna to be isolated from the Rx chain and, in a second switch state, permit the test signal to probe the Rx antenna. The Rx chain may measure a phasor of a first baseband signal generated based on a first reflected test signal and a phasor of a second baseband signal generated based on a second reflected test signal. The device may include a control circuit to compute a complex ratio based on the phasors, compute a measured reflection coefficient based on the complex ratio and using a transfer function, and monitor an impedance matching of the Rx antenna.

A radar system includes a signal generator configured to generate an RF signal; a modulator configured to generate an RF test signal by modulating the RF signal with a test signal; a transmitting channel configured to generate an RF output signal based on the RF signal; and a receiving channel configured to receive an antenna signal and the RF test signal and down-convert a superposition of the two signals to baseband by means of a mixer in order to obtain a baseband signal. The radar system further includes an analog-to-digital converter configured to generate a digital radar signal based on the baseband signal, and a computing unit configured to filter the digital radar signal by means of a digital filter, wherein the filter characteristic of the digital filter has a pass band, a transition band, and a stop band. The test signal has a frequency in the transition band.

The present disclosure relates to adjusting a suppression signal for suppressing a radio frequency (RF) interference signal in a received signal. A method includes generating an RF signal having a first frequency offset from an interference frequency; generating the suppression signal having a second frequency offset from the interference frequency; coupling the suppression signal into the received signal in order to generate a receiver input signal; mixing the receiver input signal with the RF signal in order to generate a mixer output signal; adjusting an amplitude of the suppression signal in order to align amplitudes of different components of the mixer output signal; coupling an adjusted suppression signal, having the interference frequency and the adjusted amplitude, into the received signal; and varying a phase of the adjusted suppression signal in order to reduce a frequency component of the mixer output signal that has the first frequency offset.

Implementations of the present disclosure relate to a radar receiver for a real-valued analog RF radar signal. The radar receiver comprises a quadrature mixer circuit configured to generate, from the real-valued analog RF radar signal, a complex-valued analog signal comprising an inphase (I) signal component and a quadrature (Q) signal component, an analog polyphase filter configured to filter the I- and Q-signal components of the complex-valued analog signal to generate filtered I- and Q-signal components, and an analog-to-digital converter coupled to an output of the analog polyphase filter. The radar receiver is configured to convert only one of the filtered I- and Q-signal components from the analog to the digital signal domain.

A transceiver for reducing a distortion component within a baseband receive signal is provided. The distortion component is caused by a baseband transmit signal. The transceiver includes a filter configured to filter the baseband transmit signal using a configurable transfer function to generate a modified baseband transmit signal. The configurable transfer function is based on a leakage component in the baseband receive signal, wherein the leakage component is caused by the baseband transmit signal. The transceiver further includes a processing unit configured to generate, based on the modified baseband transmit signal, an envelope signal representing the envelope of the modified baseband transmit signal. The disclosed invention relates to a transceiver system comprising a notch filter element configured to suppress transmitter blockers (i.e., transmitter interferer signals) within a reception path. In some embodiments, the transceiver front-end comprises a differential reception path, having a first differential branch and a second differential branch, configured to provide an RF differential input signal having a transmitter blocker to a transimpedance amplifier, comprising a first-order active filter and a notch filter element. The notch filter element comprises a stop band corresponding to a frequency of a transmitted signal, such that the notch filter element suppresses the transmitted blocker without degrading the signal quality of the received differential input signal.

Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to multiband receivers that include at least one divider unit having a divisor that is other-than-two. For example, in some embodiments the divisor is an odd integer (e.g., three). Such divisors allow oscillators for respective receiver subunits in a multi-band receiver to have frequencies that are sufficiently different from one another so as to limit cross-talk interference there between, even when the receiver subunits are concurrently receiving data on adjacent channels. The n portions are respectively correlated to the expected values to form component correlation results. Digital receiver synchronization

An oscillator is disclosed that is tunable to discrete values, and includes a tuning element which can be connected via a switching device. A rectifier circuit is connected to the output of the oscillator and forms a clock signal from the oscillator signal. The oscillator circuit contains a phase delay circuit having a switching input, a clock signal input which is coupled to the output of the rectifier circuit, and a switching output coupled to the switching device. The phase delay circuit has a comparison circuit for comparison of a phase of the clock signal that is applied to the signal input with a reference phase. This phase delay circuit is designed to emit a switching signal after application of an activation signal to the switching input and after the phase of the clock signal which is applied to the signal input matches the reference phase. In consequence, the switching process is delayed until the step-function response of the output signal of the oscillator does not cause a sudden phase change in the clock signal.

From this, the signal processor produces a continuous, demodulated data stream.
