An attachment device () for an apparatus (), which apparatus () comprises a fixed cable () with a connector () at its free end. The attachment device () comprises a first plate member () and a second plate member (), which by means of a hinge member () are rotatably connected to each other about a hinge axis (). Hereby, they can rotate between a closed position, in which the plate members () lie against each other, and in which the attachment device () defines a through-going opening () for the cable (), and an open position, in which the cable () can be removed from the attachment device (). The first plate member () comprises a first locking slot () and the second plate member () comprises a second locking slot (). The first and second locking slots () are aligned in the closed position, whereby a locking member () can be inserted through both locking slots () and lock the attachment device () in the closed position, in which the cable () cannot be out pulled through the through-going opening (). The hinge axis () is parallel with the first and second plate members () and that the through-going opening () is tubular.

Attachment device

A computer controller for a plurality of audio devices and audio applications and a method of control is disclosed. An audio subsystem is disclosed allowing multiple applications executed by the computer to exchange audio signals with multiple sound interface devices. A first sound interface device to emit a first loudspeaker sound signal in dependence on the first loudspeaker audio signal. The sound signal is received by an intermediate application and from the audio subsystem a first microphone audio signal depending on a first microphone sound signal received by the first sound interface device. An intermediate application causes a second sound interface device to emit a second loudspeaker sound signal in dependence on the second loudspeaker audio signal. This allows a user to conduct a softphone call using one headset connected to the computer, while the user's supervisor may listen in on the softphone call using a second headset connected to the same computer, however, without requiring any changes of the computer's hardware, its operating system or the softphone application.

The present invention relates to a desktop telephone system () and to a method for operating a desktop telephone system () and may advantageously be utilized in voice communication systems connected to telephone networks (). The present invention provides a desktop telephone system () that can handle a number of ambiguous or complex situations that can occur in daily use of known headset systems. The desktop telephone system () comprises two or more sound interface devices () each providing a sound interface to a user during telephone conversations and two or more gateway devices () each serving as a telephone gateway between a telephone network () and each sound interface device () during telephone conversations. Each gateway device () provides a call announcement signal () in response to detecting an incoming telephone call () from a telephone network (), and each sound interface device () comprises an action detector () providing a user accept signal () in response to detecting a predefined accept action performed by the user. At least one gateway device () provides the call announcement signal () to a wireless control network (), and at least one sound interface device () provides the user accept signal () to the wireless control network (). The desktop telephone system () further comprises a control device () adapted to receive a first call announcement signal () and a first user accept signal (), at least one of these from the wireless control network (), to determine a first gateway device () as source of the first call announcement signal (), to determine a first sound interface device () as source of the first user accept signal (), to determine a relationship between the first call announcement signal () and the first user accept signal (), and to cause the desktop telephone system () to establish an audio connection () between the first gateway device () and the first sound interface device () in dependence on the determined relationship.

Desktop telephone system

A wireless headset system comprising a first telecommunication device, a second telecommunication device, such as a mobile phone or a smart phone and a wireless headset adapted to be wirelessly connected by a first radio link to the first telecommunication device. The headset system is adapted to transfer a call from the first telecommunication device to the second telecommunication device, when the first wireless link or a second radio link between the first telecommunication device and the second telecommunication device is broken or becomes sufficiently weak. The invention also relates to a method and a headset to be used with such a system.

Wireless headset and a headset system for transferring call between two telecommunication devices

A headset base unit () comprising a base housing (), a headset holder () for holding a headset (). The headset base unit () has control means (), by means of which an audio channel can be opened between the headset () and a selected one of the telecommunication devices (), and a display unit () with a display () adapted for displaying device icons () representing connected telecommunication devices (). A further communication system () comprising a headset system () and a cordless telephone (). The headset system () comprises a wireless headset () with a headset transceiver () and a headset base unit () with headset base transceiver means (). The handset transceiver () and the telephone base transceiver means () can be connected by a second radio link () according to the first radio standard. The headset base transceiver means () and the telephone base transceiver means () are adapted to be connected by a third radio link () according to the first radio standard, wherein the headset () can be used for a telephone call via the first radio link () and the third link ().

Headset base with display and communications base

A headphone or a headset having at least a first and a second earphone unit is provided, the first and second earphone units being interconnected via a connecting band, the connecting band having a first end configured to connect to the first earphone unit and a second end configured to connect to the second earphone unit, wherein at least the first earphone unit comprises a first transceiver, and at least the first end of the connecting band comprises a second transceiver, the first and second transceivers being configured to inductively connect, thereby connecting the first earphone unit to conducting elements in the connecting band. It is an advantage of using an inductive connection between the earphone unit and the connecting band that no wires need to be transferred from the earphone unit to the connecting band. Hereby, a 360 degree rotation of the joint may be obtained.
