The invention is based on a protective hood fastening device having a fastening element (-) for fastening a protective hood (-) which is intended for partly enclosing a rotating application tool on a body (-) of an electric tool (-). It is proposed that the fastening element (-) comprise at least one latching element (-) for locking the protective hood (-) against rotation relative to the body (-) of the electric tool (-).

An eccentric disk grinder has a grinding disk, an eccentric shaft fixedly connected with the grinding disk, a motor, a shaft having an axis arranged so that the motor eccentrically, circulatingly and rotatably moves around the axis of the shaft, with the eccentric shaft being rotatable relative to the shaft, a braking device provided for delaying movement of the grinding disk and having a braking element which follows the movement of the grinding disk and is delayable relative to the grinding disk.

An eccentric disk grinder has a housing, a motor accommodated in the housing and having a shaft provided with an eccentric member, a first bearing supporting the shaft, a grinding disk eccentrically, circulatingly and rotatingly driven by the motor through the shaft, and a second bearing in which the grinding disk is rotatable relative to the shaft about an axis of the eccentric member. The second bearing includes at least one first bearing which takes up substantially radial forces and supports at least one of the shaft and the eccentric member at its end facing the grinding disk. The bearings also have at least another second bearing which takes up substantially axial forces and supports at least one of the shaft and the eccentric member at its side facing away from the grinding disk.
