The invention relates to an illuminable display element, in particular for a vehicle, which display element comprises a planar cover (). The planar cover has a visible side (), a rear side (), and at least one opening (). The display element also comprises at least one graphic element (), which is provided and/or formed on the visible side () of the cover (), and a lighting means (), which is used to illuminate the opening (). The graphic element () is at least partially surrounded by the at least one opening () in such a way the graphic element () can be at least partially peripherally illuminated by the light of the lighting means (). The cover () comprises at least one elevation () extending upward, within which the graphic element () is arranged above the at least one opening (), and/or the cover () comprises at least one recess () extending downward, within which the graphic element () is arranged below the at least one opening ().

Illuminable display element and method for producing such a display element

A motor vehicle () with a passenger compartment () and a motor chamber (). A substantially closed area () is arranged in the motor chamber (), and the area () is connected to the passenger compartment () via at least one first air outlet opening () in order to supply air from the area () into the passenger compartment (). The area () is additionally connected to the air outside of the motor vehicle () via at least one air inlet opening () in order to supply air from outside of the motor vehicle into the area (). Furthermore, the area () is connected to at least one second air outlet opening () in order to discharge air out of the area ().

A car having a water box comprising an outer face, an inner face, an air inlet opening, an air outlet opening and a water outlet opening. The inner face forms a water separating space that is connected to the air inlet and outlet openings and the water outlet opening. The water outlet opening discharges water out of the separating space. An air conditioner is connected to the air outlet opening to feed air from the water box into the air conditioner. An air feeding unit sucks the air into the air conditioner via the air inlet opening. The air feeding unit is designed as a suction fan. The water box comprises a wall that comprises fibers forming a non-woven fabric i.e. felt.
