A method is illustrated and described for reducing unwanted substances by injecting a reactant into a flue gas of a steam generator. In order that the reactant can also be used in larger steam generators and/or combustion chambers, a method is proposed, in which the reactant is injected into the combustion chamber of the steam generator via a reactant opening of a multi-component nozzle, in which an enveloping medium is injected into the combustion chamber through at least one enveloping medium opening arranged outside the reactant opening, and in which the enveloping medium at least partly envelops the reactant in the combustion chamber and in this way at least partly shields the reactant from the flue gas.

With a method for supplying an entrained-flow gasification reactor with carbonaceous fuel for the production of a gas that contains CO and Hand flue ash under pressure and at a temperature above the melting point of the ash, wherein the resulting gas is passed to further treatment stages, particularly at least one synthesis stage, the waste gas that is derived from the subsequent treatment stage and still contains hydrocarbons and/or hydrogen is used for pneumatic conveying of the fuel into the entrained-flow gasification reactor.

The goal of the invention consists in making available a method for supplying fuel to a pressurized gasification system, which ensures, in economically efficient manner, that the emission of pollutants from the coal transfer and the transport is minimized or completely avoided. This is achieved in that a gas that contains at least 10 ppm vol. CO is used for transfer and/or conveying, whereby a gas that contains oxygen is mixed into this gas, and that this gas mixture is heated to a temperature that oxidizes at least 10% of the pollutants contained in the gas.

The invention relates to a method and a device for the metered removal of a fine to coarse-grained solid matter or a solid matter mixture from a storage container, comprising a device for forming a fluidized bed in the discharge region or in a metering chamber of the metering container, wherein fluidization that is as optimal as possible is to be created in the lower region of such a receiving or metering container while avoiding any additional systems, mechanical elements, or extensive installations. This is achieved according to the method in that a gas is additionally introduced in the region of the metering chamber bottom for forming a fluidized bed that loosens the solid matter, and a gas is introduced via swirl nozzles for bringing about the rotation of the fluidized bed.

Method and device for the metered removal of a fine to coarse-grained solid matter or solid matter mixture from a storage container

A device for removal of fine-grained or dust-like solids from a container that is to be pressurized or is pressurized, whereby the container is equipped with a double-walled discharge cone or funnel, avoids the use of porous materials, such as sintered metals or the like, while making available good conveyance properties in the transfer funnel, without restricting the grain sizes of the material, in each instance, whereby even particle-charged gas can be used for conveyance. The gas exit openings are larger than the largest particles of the solid to be removed, and the gas exit openings are provided with a pipe connector or gas feed channel that projects into the interior of the ring chamber and has at least one angle with an imaginary horizontal plane, and the gas feed channel is part of a retention device for preventing solid from trickling into the ring chamber.

Device for removing fine-grained or dust-like solids from a container

With the help of a fixing device for catalyzer particles, wherein the catalyzer particles are packed in a bed which can be passed through by a gas flow in the direction of gravity, it is intended to achieve a minimum specific pressure loss which will remain low even if dirt should arise from the operating process; a fixing device which has a minimum influence on the period of presence of the gas flowing through; which ensures the reliable hold-down of the catalyzer particles even at high approach velocities; and which is flexible to a certain degree in order to adapt to bed changes. This is achieved by placing at least one layer of a metal braiding on the packed bed of the catalyzer particles, and the metal braiding consisting of individual metal braiding elements which are firmly braided together.

A method serves for the pyrolysis and gasification of substance mixtures containing organic constituents. The organic substances () or the substance mixture containing the organic constituents are brought into contact with a heat transfer medium, for preference the ash () from a combustion reactor () in a pyrolysis reactor (), for preference a shaft reactor and pyrolysed. The pyrolysis coke () derived from the pyrolysis is combusted in a combustion reactor (), for preference a fluidised bed reactor, under the admission of air (). In order to improve such a method, the raw gas () generated by the pyrolysis is purified in a crack reactor (), for preference by a catalyst.

Method and device for pyrolysis and gasification of substance mixtures containing organic constituents

An apparatus for pyrolysis and gasification of organic substances and mixtures thereof is provided with a pyrolysis reactor (), a fluidized-bed firing () for pyrolysis residue, a reaction zone () for the pyrolysis gases () and circulating fluidized-bed material (). The pyrolysis reactor () has a sluice for introducing application material () thereinto. An inlet for the fluidized-bed material () is disposed next to the combustion fluidized bed (). Transport apparatus () for mixture of solid pyrolysis residue and circulating fluidized bed material () is disposed at or near a bottom of the fluidized bed () and lower end of the pyrolysis reactor (). An overflow is situated at or near the top of the fluidized bed () while a heat transfer member is positioned within the reaction zone ().
