A filter device including at least one filter element adapted to filter a raw fluid and having a raw fluid side and a clean fluid side, the filter element having a clean fluid outlet arranged on the clean fluid side and extending in a first plane, at least one clean fluid collecting channel into which the clean fluid outlet opens; at least one compressed-air cleaning-off device adapted to generate a pressure pulse for cleaning-off foreign matter adhering to the filter element and to conduct the same through the clean fluid outlet to the filter element, wherein the compressed-air cleaning-off device is adapted to conduct the pressure pulse at least approximately along the first plane to the clean fluid outlet, wherein the compressed-air cleaning-off device comprises a compressed-air supply channel operationally coupled to a clean fluid collecting channel outlet and adapted to charge the clean fluid collecting channel with pressure pulses.

Filter device and method of cleaning-off a filter element of a filter device

The invention relates to a filter element having inherent stability and being porous to permit flow therethrough, comprising a filter body which forms a porous sintered structure and is constructed with filter body particles which are at least in part polysulfide particles. In addition, the invention relates to a method of manufacturing such a filter element.

Filter element

A filter device is proposed for cleaning gas entraining foreign bodies, including at least one filter unit having at least one filter surface on a raw gas side to which a raw gas stream containing foreign bodies can be supplied, wherein filtration aids can be supplied to the raw gas stream and/or the filter surface, and wherein filtration aids and/or foreign matter attached to the filter surface can be cleaned off. The filter device additionally includes a fluidized bed arrangement in which a carrier fluid stream can be generated such that cleaned-off filtration aids and/or foreign matter can be held at least in part as filtration aerosol in a surrounding of the filter unit and/or can re-attach to a filter surface.

Filter device and filter method

A method and arrangement for removing solid particles and tar component from carbon monoxide gas. In the method, carbon monoxide gas is conducted from a ferroalloy smelting furnace () to a gas scrubber (), the carbon monoxide gas is scrubbed in the gas scrubber () by a liquid medium for removing part of the solid particles, the carbon monoxide gas is conducted from the gas scrubber to a blower (), the flow rate of the carbon monoxide gas is increased by the blower (), and the carbon monoxide gas is conducted to a particulate filter () and the remaining solid particles are essentially filtered in the particulate filter () from the carbon monoxide gas. Prior to conducting the carbon monoxide gas to the particulate filter (), it is conducted to a particle feeder (), where finely divided adsorbent particles (A) are fed in the carbon monoxide gas for adhering the tar component on the surface of the adsorbent particles, and the carbon monoxide gas flow containing adsorbent particles is conducted to the particulate filter (), in which case the tar component adhered on the adsorbent particles is discharged in the particulate filter ().

Method and arrangement for removing solid particles and tar component from carbon monoxide gas

A method for filtering out foreign particles from a cooling lubricant used in a process of machining a workpiece includes providing an inherently stable, flow-porous filter element. The filter element comprises a porous main body made of joined plastics particles and having an afflux surface and a porous coating on the afflux surface for surface filtration. The porous coating first component particles and/or fibres, second component anti-adhesion particles to mitigate the adhesion of filtered out material to the porous coating and to facilitate cleaning of the filter element, with the first component particles and/or fibres and the second component particles being mixed in the porous coating, a solidified inorganic binder, and a set adhesive. The solidified inorganic binder and the set adhesive bind the first component particles and/or fibres and the second component particles to each other and to the porous main body. The cooling lubricant is first passed through the porous coating and thereafter through the porous main body of the filter element.
