At least one claw (), offset in the axial direction with respect to the locking pawl (), is mounted so as to be pivotable about the same pivot axis. The claw () has a closure contour (). The locking pawl () can be pivoted from the open position to the closed position by the closure contour () being acted upon by the locking bolt ().

Locking unit for a vehicle seat, and vehicle seat

A locking unit () for a vehicle seat () includes a pawl () which is mounted pivotably about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position and has a retaining contour () for securing a locking pin () in the closed position. At least one claw () is mounted pivotably about the same pivot axis in a manner offset in the axial direction with respect to the pawl (). The claw () has a closing contour (). The pawl () is pivotable from the open position into the closed position by the closing contour () being acted upon by the locking pin ().

A locking device for a vehicle seat has a latch which is mounted pivotably about a second axis and is intended for locking a counter element, with a clamping eccentric which is mounted pivotably about a first axis parallel to the second axis and, by interaction with a first functional surface of the latch, secures a locked state of the latch. In the locked state, the clamping eccentric acts in a spring-loaded manner on the first functional surface via a clamping surface. The clamping eccentric is moveable from the locking position thereof into the unlocking position thereof. A pretensioned compression spring is provided, which is supported at one end thereof on an arm of the clamping eccentric in a manner spring-loading the latter into the locking position thereof and, at the other end thereof, acting upon the latch in the unlocking direction.

Locking device and vehicle seat

A locking device for a vehicle seat has a catch which is mounted such that it can be pivoted about a second axis and is intended for locking a mating element, and has a clamping eccentric which is mounted such that it can be pivoted about a first axis, between a locking position and an unlocking position and secures a locked state of the catch by interaction with a first functional surface of the catch. In the locked state, the clamping eccentric acts on the first functional surface via a clamping surface. An unlocking element is mounted such that it can be pivoted about the second axis by an actuating device, counter to a spring force, out of a locking position into an unlocking position. The unlocking element and the clamping eccentric have arranged between them a bias spring element.

A locking device for a vehicle seat, includes a pawl for locking a mating element, which pawl is pivotally supported about a first axis, and a tensioning eccentric that is pivotally supported about a second axis, which is parallel to the first axis, between a locking position and an unlocking position and ensures a locked state of the pawl owing to the interaction with a first functional surface of the pawl, the tensioning eccentric acting upon the first functional surface by a tensioning surface when spring-loaded and locked, an unlocking element being pivotable about the first axis counter to a spring force from a locking position to an unlocking position by an actuation device and the tensioning eccentric being pivotally engaged by the unlocking element from its locking position towards its unlocking position.

Locking device

An indicator apparatus for signaling that a foldable backrest of a seat in a motor vehicle is not locked includes a handle pivoted between a locked position and an unlocked position about a pivot axis, a locking apparatus having a catch that, by working of the handle can be moved between a blocked position and an unblocked position, and an indicator element guided between a non-indication position and an indication position and movable by a transition element. The transmission element comprises a spring element that is fixedly connected both to the handle and to the indicator element. The spring element is resistant to deformation as the indicator element is moved by the handle, but can be deformed in an elastic manner when the handle is located in the unlocked position and the indicator element is moved out of the indication position into the non-indication position.

Indicator apparatus

A locking mechanism () for a vehicle seat includes a latch () that is to be interlocked with an opposite element (B) and is mounted to be pivotable about a first bearing bolt (), at least one securing element () that secures the latch () in the locked state, and a movable unlocking handle (). The unlocking handle () is directly hinged to one of the securing elements () by means of a single pivot point ().

Locking mechanism for a vehicle seat

A lock for a vehicle seat has a catch which is pivotable about a catch axis between a release position and a locking position in order to cooperate with a locking bolt or a locking clip of a vehicle structure, and has an ejector. The ejector has a spring element disposed in a housing of the lock. The ejector can be brought into abutment against the vehicle structure or the locking bolt or locking clip by a biased spring element.

The lock housing () has an integrated first stop () for the opposite element (B). The stop () has a damping effect when the opposite element (B) rests against the lock housing ().

A locking mechanism () for a vehicle seat, particularly for a motor vehicle seat, includes a latch () that is to be interlocked with an opposite element (B) and is mounted to be pivotable about a first bearing bolt (), and at least one securing element () that secures the latch () in the locked state. A cap () which rests on the latch () covers at least part of the edge of a hook opening of the latch ().

A fitting system () is provided for a vehicle seat (), especially motor vehicle seat, which defines a pivot axis (A) of backrest and has a fitting lower part () and an associated fitting upper part () on both sides of the vehicle seat. Each fitting upper part () is pivotable relative to the associated fitting lower part () about the pivot axis (A) of the backrest. The system has, on one side of the vehicle seat, a lock () and an opposing element (), which lock the fitting system () in a use position by cooperating. A prestressed latch (), which cooperates with another opposing element (), especially receives it, in the use position, is provided on the side of the vehicle seat that is located opposite the lock ().

Fitting system for a vehicle seat

A fitting includes a movable locking device connected to a lower fitting part for engaging an upper fitting part and thereby locking the fitting, a control cam for engaging with a control element of the upper fitting part and thereby controlling the engagement of the locking device and the upper fitting part, and a spring-loaded clamping eccentric that acts on the locking device for securing its engagement with the upper fitting part. For unlocking the fitting, the spring-loaded clamping eccentric is moved with an actuating force in a first unlocking step, so that the engagement of the locking device and the upper fitting part is removed. In the first unlocking stage, the control cam and the control element still engage. In a second unlocking stage, which is attainable with a higher actuating force, the engagement of control cam and control element is at least to a large extent is removed.
