A lamp arrangement is provided having a lamp socket, a concave reflector body arranged on the lamp socket, an emitter arranged within the cavity of the reflector body and on the lamp socket, and preferably a filter disk, which covers an outlet opening of the reflector body for radiation. The reflector body is detachably connected with the lamp socket by a bayonet catch. Alternatively, the reflector body can be connected with the lamp socket by at least two gripping arms. The lamp arrangement is designed especially for use in the UV range.

UV lamp arrangement and its use

The invention relates to a rectangular frame system with one to two discoid radiation filters, as well as a tanning module with such a frame system. The rectangular frame system has an upper plate, a lower plate and two to three margin members, two margin members being opposite one another and joining the upper plate to the lower plate, the upper plate having a first opening whose perimeter describes a circle, an ellipse, a rectangle or a polygon, and the lower plate has a rectangular second opening, the second opening having a greater area than the first opening, and at least two double spring clips are arranged at the two opposite margin members, which border on side of the frame system at which no margin member is provided, such that between the lower plate and the double spring clips a first radiation filter is clamped.

The invention relates to a tanning module with optimized guidance of the flow of cooling air, with a housing, a reflector, and at least one discoid radiation filter. The housing has the shape of a quadrilateral pyramid with a rectangular base on a first side opposite the radiation filter and a flattened pyramid apex, the rectangular base facing toward the at least one radiation filter.

To heat horizontal surfaces on which patients are placed after surgery, an irradiation apparatus with halogen lamps is provided, the radiation of which is directed toward the horizontal surface to heat it. The surface temperature prevailing in the irradiated area of the horizontal resting surface is detected by a pyrometric sensor as long-wave infrared radiation. This temperature value is used as the controlled variable and is compared with a predetermined nominal value, such as 37.degree. C. In the event of a deviation, a control signal corrects the irradiation intensity by adjusting the power supply to the halogen lamps.

Reflector for a radiating luminous source and use of the same

A blank for a one piece reflector for a light radiation source is formed as a unitary part having a reflecting surface. It includes a continuous elongated rim; a plurality of segments extending from one side of the rim and spaced along the length of said rim, the segments being separated by recesses each having a tip extending to the one side of the rim; and a flap extending from a side of the rim opposite the segments. The flap has notches aligned with the recess tips.

Reflector for light radiation source

A medical lamp having a reflector in the shape of an ellipsoid of rotation containing on its interior side a plurality of facets which provide for a largely shadow-free illumination of the area to be lit. An opening is provided in the reflector, which is surrounded by a ring flange. A lamp having a spiral-wound filament therein is inserted into the ring flange so that its bulb is oriented towards the surface of the reflector where the light exits, whereby the spiral-wound filament in the bulb is positioned along the reflector axis. The bulb has a base with a cylindrical portion which is adjacent to a plate flange. The cylindrical portion of the base is encircled by the ring flange of the reflector opening in such a manner that the bulb is secured against shifting in the radial direction of the reflector axis. A clip attached to opposite ends of the reflector contacts the plate flange located at the rear end of the lamp in a locking manner to secure the base to the outer edge of the ring flange and, as a result, the lamp is set in its correct spiral-wound filament position. A major advantage of the present invention is its simple construction and the speed with which the lamp can be changed.

Medical lamp with multi-component projector unit

A field-of-operation illuminating device has at least one discharge lamp concentrically surrounded by several halide incandescent lamps at its bottom, which faces the field of operation. The discharge lamp is accommodated in a stationary reflector and illuminates the recesses of the field. The incandescent lamps are mounted in reflectors that can be adjusted so that their beams will overlap in the field. In the event of power outage or failure of the mains, power is supplied to the lamps from a battery-supported substitute source. The incandescent lamps, due to their thermal inertia, continue to burn almost uninterruptedly, whereas the discharge lamp remains off long enough to cool-down before being restarted. The advantages are less heat during normal operation and immediate availability of the incandescent lamps in an emergency.
