A method for assembling a superconducting bearing, wherein the superconducting bearing has a first bearing ring including a first body made of a type-2 superconducting material and a second bearing ring including a second body made of a type-2 superconducting material, the method including the following steps: assembling the first bearing ring and the second bearing ring; and, applying an external magnetic field, which permeates both bodies to the first body and to the second body.

A bottom bracket with a torque sensor unit. The bottom bracket has at least one pedal crank, a shaft that is non-rotatably connected to the at least one pedal crank, and a torque detection device for detecting a torque in the region of the shaft. The torque detection device has a first magnetization and a sensor which detects a change of the first magnetized due to a torque passed into the shaft. The bottom bracket allows a reliable and fast detection of torques, especially of the different torques of both pedal cranks. Utilizing the shaft, which is designed as a hollow shaft and the first magnetization, which is arranged on at least one section of the shaft.

A bottom bracket, which has a shaft, a first pedal crank, which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the shaft, a second pedal crank, which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the shaft, and a chainring carrier, which is connected to the shaft. The object of providing a bottom bracket with a chainring carrier that is easy to assemble is achieved by the chainring carrier being connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a chainring shaft and by the chainring shaft being connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the shaft.

A rolling bearing which has at least one heated rolling bearing ring. An electrical heating element is applied with good thermally-conductive contact to a surface section of the heated rolling bearing ring. The heat quantity which can be generated by the heating element is dimensioned such that the heated rolling bearing ring undergoes thermal expansion when heated, which permits the rolling bearing to be mounted on a frame element with the formation of a shrink fit during subsequent cooling.

The invention relates to a measuring device, comprising an optical sensory array for determining changes in the position of a drum which is mounted in a washing machine at least so as to be pivotable about a swiveling axis. The sensory array is provided with at least one light sensor, at least one modifiable light passage, and at least one light source. The light sensor is directed to portions of light which are emitted by the light source, are dependent upon changes in the light passage, and impinge the light sensor.

The invention relates to a radial roller bearing, having an outer bearing ring and an inner bearing ring, and rolling bodies located between the rings. Some of the rollers are formed by individual hollow rollers of a shape memory alloy. The cross-section of the shape memory alloy rollers is deformed during the assembly of the radial roller bearing to fit the dimensions of the free space between the rims of the rings. The rollers are introduced into the radial roller bearing through the free space between the rims of the bearing rings. After introduction into the radial roller bearing and once they have reached a specific temperature, the rollers independently regain their original shape.

The anti-friction bearing has an outer bearing ring, an inner bearing ring and rolling bodies that are located between the bearing rings. The race of the outer bearing ring and the inner bearing ring are laterally delimited by two continuous rims that are formed as one piece with the races. The bearing is filled with the rolling bodies through the free space between the two rims. A partial quantity of the rolling bodies is made of a shape memory alloy, the cross-section of the bodies being deformed to fit the dimensions of the free space between the rims. After introduction into the bearing and once they have reached a specific temperature, the bodies regain their original shape.

A measuring device for detecting stresses of a bearing arrangement. The stresses are measured based on elastic changes in shape. The inventive measuring device includes a light source, which is directed onto a light passage, and a light sensor. The dimensions of a portion of the light that penetrates the light passage and impinges the light sensor can be modified by elastically changing the shape of the light passage.
