A touch/orientation apparatus having, for orienting a saw template: an adjusting element, a moving element having a profiled indentation, a feeler that is movable relative to the adjusting element, a scale for measuring the height of the adjusting element relative to the moving element, at least one first stop formed on the adjusting element, and at least one second stop formed on the scale or acting as a scale and being provided and adapted to function as a resistance to the first stop. The second stop and/or the first stop resiliently deflects the respective other stop.

A medical fastening device for noninvasively fastening a medical marking device comprising two or more marking elements to a body part of a patient is provided. The fastening device has a support body which extends over a surface in two directions of extent aligned at an angle to each other and is adaptable in its shape to the contour of the body part, to which the marking device is fixed or fixable. The support body is elastically stretchable in the surface of its extent and comprises a first stretch area and at least one second stretch area, the stretchability of which in at least one direction in the surface of the extent of the support body is less than that of the first stretch area. A medical referencing device and a medical instrumentation comprising such a fastening device are also provided.

A pedicle screw system and/or a spinal stabilization system includes a pedicle screw having a screw shaft with an external thread and having a screw head supported on the screw shaft in a ball-and-socket joint relationship therewith. The screw head includes a connecting element receptacle for a connecting element of a spinal stabilization system. The pedicle screw system further includes a bone alignment device and a coupling device for at least one of force-locking coupling and form-locking coupling of the bone alignment device and the screw shaft when in an alignment position.

In order to simplify the switching of medical or surgical equipment in an operating theatre, there is proposed a switching device for medical or surgical equipment which is characterized by a planar floor mat having sensors distributed over the surface area thereof, said sensors producing an electrical signal corresponding to the position of a foot of an operator on the floor mat when the foot is located near the respective sensor, and by a data processing system which is connected to the floor mat and is programmed in such a manner that it stores the instantaneous position of the foot on the floor mat as a starting position when activated by an activating signal, selects at least one switching area of the floor mat which has a predetermined location relative to the starting position, and produces a switching signal when the foot is located near a sensor in the switching area.
