An electric shaver, comprising an elongated handle for manually moving the personal care device along a body surface, a working head attached to said handle for effecting a personal care treatment to said body surface, at least one detector for detecting at least one behavioral parameter indicative of a user's behavior when handling the personal care device, and an adjusting mechanism for adjusting at least one working parameter of the working head in response to the detected behavioral parameter.

Hair removal device

A hair removal device comprising a working head attached to a handle for moving the working head along a skin surface is provided. The working head includes at least one hair removal tool defining a skin contact contour of the working head, wherein the at least one hair removal tool is movable relative to the handle under a skin contact pressure by a support structure to allow for pivoting of the working head's skin contact contour relative to the handle. The support structure movably supporting the hair removal tool relative to the handle is configured to allow for pivoting of the skin contact contour relative to the handle about an angle of about +/&#x2212;15&#xb0; or more under a contact force of about 0.75 N or less and/or about an angle of about +/&#x2212;20&#xb0; or more under a contact force of about 1.5 N or less.

A skin treatment device such as an electric shaver, having a housing forming an elongated handle for manually moving the device along a body surface, a working head attached to the handle for effecting a treatment to the body surface, at least one detector for detecting at least one treatment parameter of the device, and a feedback indicator for indicating feedback information based on the detected treatment parameter to a user during the personal care treatment. More particularly, such feedback indicator includes a light emitter configured to emit light signals onto a mirror in front of a user.

During its use, the at least one electrically operated equipment is not directly connected to the energy source located in the housing.

A shaving head for an electric dry shaver includes a base element for carrying at least three cutter units. Each unit provides an outer cutter and an inner cutter arranged to be moved in sliding contact relative to each other. At least one cutter unit includes a foil-type outer cutter. The shaving head further includes a first trimmer-type cutting unit that has a plurality of slots defined by a plurality of adjacent bar elements featuring cutting edges. The shaving head also includes a second trimmer-type cutting unit having an outer cutter that includes a plurality of teeth featuring cutting edges and spaced apart from each other so as to define a plurality of slits.

The invention relates to a cutting device () for cutting hair, having at least two blades () which move back and forth relative to each other. The blades () are provided with teeth () which extend transversally to the direction of movement (P), and tooth gaps () arranged therein. The teeth () have contact surfaces () on their facing sections which are in gliding contact with each other and which form cutting edges () on their sides bounding the tooth gaps () such that the back and forth movement (P) of the blades causes the tooth gaps (), cooperating with each other, to form constantly changing cutting gaps () in which hair becomes clamped and is finally cut. According to the invention, the free ends of teeth () of one blade () project over sections () of free ends of teeth () of other blades (), and projections () extend from the projecting sections () of the teeth () on the contact surfaces () side. The projections () improve the cutting result by erecting the hairs lying flat against the skin surface () during the cutting process, feeding them more easily to the teeth ().

Cutting device for cutting hair

The invention relates to an electrically driven razor and an associated charging station, wherein at least one drivable cutting or shearing part is supported on a shearing head disposed on the razor housing and wherein at least one active thermocouple that can be electrically actuated is thermally coupled to a passive cooling element on the side that can be cooled relative to the ambient temperature. The passive cooing element in this arrangement is disposed having at least one free end section on or in the region of the shearing head, such that it contacts the skin of a user in shaving mode.

A shaving unit for an electric shaver which comprises an outer cutter and an inner cutter associated to that outer cutter. The cutters are mounted so as to be movable relative to each other and adapted to be set in a relative motion by a drive mechanism. The inner cutter provides a plurality of cutting edges and abuts with its outer face on the inner face of the outer cutter. The outer cutter provides a plurality of teeth equipped with cutting edges. The outer cutter provides two comb elements which are disposed opposite one another and which extend according to the direction of the relative motion. The two comb elements are aligned with respect to one another such that the tips of the teeth of the first comb element are facing the tips of the teeth of the second comb element, the tips of the teeth spaced from one another.
