A 1K UV-ink jet printing ink composition comprising effect pigments, wherein the composition comprises: a) at least one difunctional (meth)acrylate monomer, b) at least one photoinitiator, c) effect pigments having a volume averaged particle size distribution with a D&#x3c;10 &#x3bc;m, d) optionally trifunctional and/or polyfunctional (meth)acrylate monomers, and wherein the viscosity of the ink jet printing ink composition is at maximum 30 mPas, measured at 25&#xb0; C. for 10 minutes with a Brookfield R/S rheometer using a double gap cylinder according to DIN 53453 (German Industrial Standards) at 150 rpm and wherein the total concentration of the at least one difunctional (meth)acrylate monomer of a) and the trifunctional and/or polyfunctional (meth)acrylate monomers of d) is in a range of 75 to 100 wt.-%, based on the total amount of (meth)acrylate monomers.

UV ink jet printing ink composition

A printing ink, preferably ink-jet ink, containing pearlescent pigments and at least one of at least one solvent, at least one radiation-curable component and at least one binder, wherein the pearlescent pigments comprise a substantially transparent platelet-shaped substrate having a density &#x3c1;and at least one optically active coating having a density &#x3c1;, and the pearlescent pigments have a dvalue for a cumulative frequency distribution of a volume-averaged size distribution function with a range from 3.5 to 15 &#x3bc;m. The present disclosure is directed to a pigment preparation comprising aluminum effect pigments, a solvent and at least one additive, wherein the aluminium effect pigments have a dvalue of the volume averaged particle size distribution curve of less than 15 &#x3bc;m, the at least one additive is a phosphorous containing additive, and the solvent has a viscosity equal to or more than 1.8 mPa's at 25&#xb0; C. The disclosure is further directed to an ink jet printing ink as well the use thereof.

Pigment preparation and ink jet printing ink

The present disclosure is directed to a pigment preparation comprising aluminum effect pigments, a solvent and at least one additive, wherein the aluminum effect pigments have a dvalue of the volume averaged particle size distribution curve of less than 15 &#x3bc;m, the at least one additive is a phosphorous containing additive, and the solvent has a viscosity equal to or more than 1.8 mPa's at 25&#xb0; C. The disclosure is further directed to an ink jet printing ink as well the use thereof.

A pigmented ink for printing on untreated vinyl foils or substrates coated with vinyl by means of piezoelectric printing systems which include at least one heating device, wherein the ink is composed of a liquid carrier substance, water insoluble coloring agents, polymeric binding agents, drying decelerators, as well as additional additives, wherein the liquid carrier substance is composed of water and drying decelerators which are mixable in water. The liquid carrier substance has a content of at least 80% by weight water and the content of drying decelerators is composed of at least butyldiglycol and 1-metaxipropanol-2, and the ink has a pH-value of greater than 8.5.

A printing system has at least one print head, a refillable or exchangeable ink reservoir or reservoir system, an electronic device for printing, a communication system as a control device for transmitting, blocking, and processing different signals, pulses, information, and data. Ink cartridge

An ink base for producing pigmented inks having a water base contains a drying retarder and a pH adjusting agent. The drying retarder contains at least diethylene glycol, 1,6-hexane diol, and pentaerythritol. The pH adjusting agent (PH) contains at least one amine. The ink base contains at least 30.0-95.5% by wt. diethylene glycol; 3.0-40.0% by wt. 1,6-hexane diol; 0.01-3.0% by wt. pentaerythritol; and 1.5-15.0% by wt. amine(s).

Ink base for pigmented inks, inks manufactured therefrom and their use

An ink set consists of several inks containing at least one of a red ink and a magenta ink, one of a blue ink and a cyan ink, and a yellow ink for piezo inkjet printers operating according to a drop-on-demand method. Each one of the inks contains at least one water-soluble dye as a principal colorant, a solvent, and one or more anti-drying agents. The solvent is substantially water. A first one of the inks contains &ldquo;Direct Blue 199&rdquo; as a primary or exclusive dye, a second one of the inks contains &ldquo;Reactive Red 180&rdquo; as a primary or exclusive dye, and a third one of the inks contains &ldquo;Reactive Yellow 37&rdquo; as a primary or exclusive dye. A black ink may be added to the ink set.

Aqueous ink set and its use

The present invention relates to an ink or India ink for variable ink applications, for writing, drawing, painting and printing, especially in connection with ink-jet systems or other mechanical writing, printing, painting or marking methods and/or devices, made up of organic solvent, as well as of a coloring agent and, optionally, water, binding agent and/or further additives. The coloring agent includes at least two chromophoric components, of which, in the print image, or after the stroke application or color application, at least one coloring-agent component is water-soluble, and a further coloring-agent component is water-insoluble. The components should include various colorants and/or color pigments, and should have at least one colorant that is water-soluble in the stroke application--especially under the influence of heat--and one water-insoluble colorant and/or one water-insoluble color pigment.

Ink for changeable color applications

A method for cleaning the printhead of an ink jet printer includes the steps of separating an ink container from the printhead, connecting a cleaning container containing cleaning fluid to the printhead, and drawing cleaning fluid through the printhead, thereby cleaning the printhead. A device for cleaning the printhead includes a cleaning container connector element and a cleaning container that are shaped substantially the same as an ink container connecting element and an ink container, respectively.
