Disclosed herein are methods for decoding path data. The methods may comprise providing a navigation database for storing topological information of a road network. The navigation database comprises a plurality of road links, and a plurality of link nodes, each link node defining a topological connection between two or more of the road links. The methods may further comprise receiving path data indicative of a path within the road network, wherein the path data comprises a start identifier, a link count, and at least one exit number. The methods may further comprise selecting, from the navigation database, one road link of the plurality of the road links as a start road link of the path based the start identifier. Moreover, the methods may comprise iteratively expanding the path with selected road links until the link count is equal to the number of road links of the path.

Device and method for digital exposure

In order to improve a method for producing a structure of polymerisation picture points () in a light-sensitive layer () of printing plates (), in particular flexo-printing plates, as an image of picture data composed from a matrix () of picture points, by way of structured exposure with a light source, to the extent that an improved tonal range of the print picture is achieved and simultaneously that the manufacturing time is reduced, it is suggested for each polymerisation picture point () to be produced by an individual exposure sequence () which on the one hand is selected in dependence on the surface density of the polymerisation picture points () to be set at the location (A, B, C, D) of the polymerisation picture point () and one the other hand in dependence on the picture data.

Method for exposure of flexo printing plates

An illumination and modulation device is described, as well as a method for modulating the exposure intensity in the integrating digital screen imaging system (IDSI), comprising a light source, a light modulator, and various devices. The object of the invention is to present a device and a method with which the exposure quality can be optimized using simple means. The object on which the invention is based is attained by the fact that the device comprises at least one device for varying the number of cells of the light modulator used to expose the photosensitive material or by the fact that, in the method according to the invention, the number of cells of the light modulator used to expose the photosensitive material can be varied.

Device and method for compensating non-uniformities in imaging systems

The invention relates to an exposure apparatus, in particular for wavelength-dependent light outcoupling, in which at least one preferably wavelength-dependent mirror layer is located within an exposure beam path of a lamp, which mirror layer is used to divide the beam path into a spectral portion used for exposure, and into an unused spectral portion. The object of the invention is to provide an exposure apparatus and a method with which the quality of exposure can be optimized using simple means. The object on which the invention is based is attained according to the invention by locating a mirror in the beam path of the unused region of the spectrum that reflects the unused spectral range in the direction of a mirror layer, and a portion of this is projected onto a viewing screen for adjustment purposes.

Device and method for wavelength dependent light outcoupling

A method for exposing print media formed as printed plates with the use of UV light from a light source that is modified by a projection unit with respect to direction and/or intensity, the method comprising the steps of in a first process appearing an image of a calculated and stored partial image from the projection unit on the print medium; in a second process positioning the projection unit relative to the print medium by a positioning unit; optimizing joining of partial images into one image by running the first process and the second process in parallel with coordination of the first process and the second process by a higher-level unit via control of lines, and by providing at least one unit in which one or more trigger signals are generated for starting and ending the second process to move the projection unit to a next partial unit, and for the first process for starting and ending an exposure, so that the trigger signals are evaluated by a receiver formed as the higher-level unit.
