The invention relates to a valve assembly () for a multi-scroll turbine () for controlling an overflow of exhaust gases between a first spiral () and a second spiral () and for controlling a bypass opening (). The valve assemblycomprises a lever () and a valve closing element () which is operatively connected to the lever (). Furthermore, the valve assembly () comprises a spring element () which is designed to pre-bias the valve closing element () the against lever ().

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a turbine housing (), which has a bypass duct () with a bypass opening (); and having a control flap (), which is mounted pivotably between a closed position and an open position in the turbine housing (), the control flap (), when in its closed position, resting on a bearing region () of a housing wall () which conducts exhaust gas and contains the bypass opening (), wherein at least one flow imperfection (A,B;A,B) is arranged in the turbine housing wall () in the bearing region () of the control flap () and/or in the control flap ().
