Devices for determining the absorption capacity of a metal-based oxygen absorber, preferably in the form of a sachet, comprising: a detector for detecting an electromagnetic field while the metal-based oxygen absorber is placed therein or moved relative thereto, preferably in uniform manner; and an evaluation unit which, on the basis of the measurement signal detected by the detector, determines the absorption capacity of the metal-based oxygen absorber, wherein the device further comprises a position and/or orientation sensing device which detects a position and/or an orientation of the metal-based oxygen absorber relative to the electromagnetic field; and wherein the evaluation unit corrects the measurement signal on the basis of the detected position and/or orientation of the metal-based oxygen absorber. In addition, a method for determining the absorption capacity of a metal-based oxygen absorber is disclosed.

Medical sterile packaging unit

A sterile filter module/dialyzer packaging including a filter module, preferably a dialyzer, sterile-packaged in a primary packaging. The filter module having an essentially cylindrical central section and a filter module connection formed at the end of the central section. The primary packaging is a blister packaging with a plastic molded part as a lower section forming a receiving compartment for the filter module and a soft upper foil which, with the lower section, closes the receiving compartment for the filter module. The upper foil is fixed onto the lower section so as to be hermetically sealed and the filter module is fixed at least in sections by means of form fit.

A sterile packaging unit of a medical filter module including a filter module packed in a sterile primary package, wherein the primary package is a blister package including a molded part having a receiving compartment for the filter module and a cover part arranged on the molded part and hermetically sealing the receiving compartment, wherein the primary package includes a getter for binding molecular oxygen present in the receiving compartment and the filter module is mounted by form closure with respect to the molded part.

A device for supplying cell culture modules with nutrients has an arrangement of channels, pumps and valves in or on a plate. The valves may be pinch valves operated by deforming an elastic section of a conduit and the pump may be a pinch valve pump. The channels may be defined, at least in part, by the plate. The pumps, channels and valves may be located within the thickness of the plate. The device may be used to supply nutrients to cell culture modules according to a perfusion operation, a re-circulation operation and/or a combination of both.
