In one aspect, a bearing unit for a motor and at least one gear element of an actuating drive includes at least one fixing element with which the motor is fixable and/or mountable in a housing of the actuating drive. The bearing unit also includes at least one ring gear having at least one securing section, the at least one ring gear being fixable and/or non-rotatably mountable in the housing via the at least one securing section. Additionally, the bearing unit includes at least one bearing axle that connects the at least one ring gear and the at least one fixing element.

In an actuator, which can be used, for example, for an electromotive parking brake, and the housing of which is equipped with a gear mechanism, axial and radial bracings of a worm member take place using a bearing bracket, the limbs of which, on both sides, engage the worm member from behind and reach radially beyond its shaft. As seizing protection against a wedging between the worm member and the worm wheel, the bearing bracket can be slightly displaced in the housing. For this purpose, by virtue of the restoring forces exerted by the spring elements, which are then tensioned, the bearing bracket together with the worm member is pushed axially and the worm wheelis turned.

Actuator, especially for use in a motor vehicle

In an actuator having a reversible motor before a step-down gear, this can be optimized kinetically, geometrically and in terms of material engineering when different step-down ratios become active according to the different torque requirement for application and for release, in a manner dependent on direction of rotation, for example of a parking brake operated by an electric motor. For this purpose, two differently dimensioned idler wheels of the step-down gears that mesh, for example, with a stepped motor pinion, act via freewheels acting in opposite directions on a common gear shaft. Depending on direction of rotation of the motor, the gear shaft thereby rotates at different rpms, delivering correspondingly different torques.

A particularly cost-effective electric-motor brake actuator which is useable in a highly flexible manner in respect of structural boundary conditions has an integrally formed cup which is equipped with a permanent magnet assembly and can be equipped with a separately manufactured, electromagnetic rotor assembly. In this manner, the equipment outlay is reduced as is the construction costs.

Electric-motor brake actuator of a motor vehicle parking brake

The invention relates to a subassembly for a brake actuator, which is provided for an electromechanically operated parking brake. The subassembly comprises a drive device and a gearing device, which comprises in succession a first, second and third gear stage for transmitting a torque generated by the drive device. The first gear stage is designed in the form of a gearwheel or belt drive, the second gear stage is designed in the form of a gearwheel mechanism, and the third gear stage is designed in the form of a planetary gear, wherein a planet carrier of the third gear stage receives a first gearing shaft for a sun gear of the planetary gear and an output-side gearwheel of the second gear stage that is coupled to rotate with the sun gear, and bearing elements for planet gears of the third gear stage. The invention further relates to an electromechanical brake actuator and to an electric parking brake, which include the sub-assembly.

An actuator for the electromotive actuation of a parking or stop brake, especially of a private car comprises, downstream on the electric motor, a planetary wheel transmission which is axially cascaded in a multi-stage manner and comprises a centering pin which is radially mounted on the two front ends thereof and extends coaxially to the output shaft, on the radial overdefined bearing arrangement thereof. Respectively one planet carrier comprising a pinion is embodied, along the centering pin, as a sun wheel for the planet wheels on the planet carrier of the following transmission step.
