The use of a certain copolymer is described for reducing the gas-permeability of rubber material. A rubber material provided with a barrier material in the form of the copolymer is also described. The copolymer can be produced via ring-opening metathesis polymerization of a) one first olefin monomer selected from the group consisting of cyclic olefin monomers having at least one endocyclic C&#x2014;C double bond, where no tertiary carbon atom bearing a hydrogen atom is present in alpha-position to the double bond, and b) one second olefin monomer selected from the group consisting of cyclic olefin monomers having one endocyclic C&#x2014;C double bond, where a tertiary carbon atom bearing a hydrogen atom is present in at least one alpha-position to the double bond, where the copolymer has been oxidized at least to some extent, where the amount of polycyclic olefin monomers used to produce the copolymer with at least two C&#x2014;C double bonds is zero or less than 1 mol %, based on the entirety of the monomers.

Rubber material with barrier material made of cycloolefin copolymers

The use of an aqueous polyurethane dispersion adhesive is described for producing biodisintegratable composite foils where at least two substrates are adhesive-bonded to one another with use of the polyurethane dispersion adhesive, where at least one of the substrates is a biodisintegrable polymer foil. At least 60% by weight of the polyurethane is composed of diisocyanates, polyesterdiols, and at least one bifunctional carboxylic acid selected from dihydroxycarboxylic acids and diaminocarboxylic acids.

Biodisintegratable composite foils

A method for producing biodisintegratable composite foils with an aqueous polyurethane dispersion adhesive. The method involves adhesive-bonding a first substrate to a second substrate with use of the aqueous polyurethane dispersion adhesive. At least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is made of a biodisintegratable polymer foil, and at least 60% by weight of the polyurethane contains diisocyanates, polyesterdiols, and bifunctional carboxylic acids. The bifunctional carboxylic acids are dihydroxycarboxylic acids or diaminocarboxylic acids.

A description is given of an aqueous polymer dispersion comprising at least one polyurethane, dispersed in aqueous phase and having one or more uretdione groups, and at least one solid polyamine with a deactivated surface, said dispersion being useful as an adhesive, coating material or sealant or for producing adhesive, coating or sealing compositions. The compositions can be activated thermally or by electromagnetic radiation.

Latently reactive polyurethane dispersion with activatable crosslinking

A rubber material is described, modified with a barrier material in the form of a copolymer which can be produced via ring-opening metathesis polymerization of a) at least one olefin monomer selected from the group consisting of monocyclic olefin monomers having one or two endocyclic C&#x2014;C double bonds and bicyclic olefin monomers having one endocyclic C&#x2014;C double bond and b) at least one polycyclic olefin monomer having at least two C&#x2014;C double bonds. The barrier material can be used to reduce the gas permeability of the rubber material.

A process is described for the preparation of a precursor alcohol of Cizolirtine, (&#xb1;)-2-[phenyl(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)methoxy]-N,N-dimethylethanamine and its enantiomers. The process involves the asymmetric addition of a metalated phenyl reagent to a pyrazolcarbaldehyde in the presence of a chiral ligand to yield chiral alcohols. The chiral alcohols are further O-alkylated to yield Cizolirtine or its enantiomers.

Process for obtaining Cizolirtine and its enantiomers

A process is described for the preparation of a precursor alcohol of (&#xb1;)-2-[thienyl(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)methoxy]-N,N-dimethyletanamine and in general for thienylazolylalcoxyethanamines and their enantiomers. The process involves asymmetric addition of a metalated thienyl reagent to a pyrazolcarbaldehyde in the presence of a chiral ligand to yield chiral alcohols. The chiral alcohols are further O-alkylated to yield the corresponding pharmaceutically active thienylazolylalcoxyethanamines.
