A discharging device for the discharge of liquid media is specified, with a pump chamber that comprises an inlet opening and an outlet opening, and with a piston that is displaceable in the pump chamber. The object is to be able to dispense a medium with high accuracy using the discharging device. For this purpose, the piston comprises a projection which enters the inlet opening after a predetermined stroke of the piston.

A hollow piston rod extends the axial bore of the piston and is slideable in a closing cap and has an actuating head, wherein, when the actuating head is actuated, the piston builds up a pressure in a pressure chamber against a restoring force of a spring. An outlet duct extends through the actuating head to an outlet opening. When subjected to the restoring force of the spring, the piston releases a passage between the pressure chamber and openings of a second housing portion. A medium which kills germs and bacteria is arranged in an expansion chamber. The dispensing stroke volume of the piston corresponds to the volume of a drop of the liquid.

Actuating head of a double-acting pump for ejecting a product from a container

A double-acting pump for ejecting a product from a container, with a housing in which a piston with an axial bore is axially slideable and sealed by a first housing portion, with a hollow piston rod which extends the axial bore of the piston and is slideable in an opening of a closing cap of the housing and container. When an actuating head is actuated, it presses the piston against the force of a restoring spring toward a connecting pipe portion for an immersion pipe provided in the housing, so that a pressure is built up in a pressure chamber of the housing which presses a first valve closing piece in the connecting pipe piece against a first valve seat. In the non-actuated state, the piston releases as a result of the restoring force of a spring a passage between a pressure chamber and at least one opening in a second housing portion, wherein the connecting pipe piece has a second valve seat and a second valve closing piece which, in a position of the double-acting pump in which an actuating head is lower than the connecting pipe piece, the second valve closing piece assumes its closing position at the second valve seat, and the second valve closing piece assumes its open position in an inverted position in which the actuating head is higher than the connecting pipe piece.

A actuating head of a double-acting or lift and force pump for ejecting a product from a container includes an outlet duct leading to an ejection opening, wherein a valve closing piece is arranged in the outlet duct. Together with the outlet duct, the valve closing piece forms a check valve which, when the actuating head is actuated, is opened by the pressure of the product and allows the product to flow into a space defined by the inner side of the outlet duct and the circumference of the valve closing piece. This space is connected through at least one transverse groove to the ejection opening. The valve closing piece is elastically deformed by the product pressure when the actuating head is actuated and opens the check valve. The valve closing piece borders against the transverse groove and rests with its rear side against a radially inwardly protruding shoulder of the outlet duct. The rear side of the valve closing piece is provided with at least one radial groove and the portion of the outlet duct located on the rear side of the valve closing piece can be connected through the at least one radial groove to the space, wherein the valve closing piece has a circumferential sealing lip which releases the flow of the product as a result of the product pressure when the actuating head is actuated.
