A method determines an overload capacity of at least one high-voltage device. In which method, measurement values are continuously recorded by sensors located in or on the high-voltage device. The measurement values and/or values derived therefrom are transmitted via a near field communication connection from the sensors to a communication unit of the high-voltage device. The communication unit is connected to a data processing cloud. For high-voltage devices, a load forecast request is created for a predetermined time-period and is transmitted to a data processing cloud. For each high-voltage device, a state parameter is determined in part based on the measurement values. The load forecast request and each state parameter are transmitted at a request time to a load forecasting model; and the load forecasting model determines the maximum load in the predetermined time period.

Method for determining the overload capacity of a high-voltage device

For a respective passenger car, a number of passengers situated therein and/or a number of available spaces is determined. A passenger flow simulation is initialized on the basis of the determined numbers is provided. A multiplicity of potential directions of movement are furthermore determined, for which a multiplicity of direction of movement-specific movement profiles are read in. The initialized passenger flow simulation is then executed for a respective movement profile, wherein a distribution value that rates a resultant passenger distribution is determined in each case. From the potential directions of movement, depending on the determined distribution values, specific directions of movement are selected and are output as direction of movement indications on passenger-specific and/or location-specific direction indicators is also provided.

For diagnosing a railroad switch with a point machine, a first and a second time series of a sensor signal of the point machine are received. Moreover, changes in the first and the second time series are detected indicating changes of operational conditions of the point machine. Furthermore, an event point of a respective change in the first and in the second time series is allocated to a respective component of the railroad switch or of the point machine based on a simulation modelling the respective component. Then for a respective component: event points allocated to that respective component are identified, the sensor signal at a first identified event point in the first time series is compared with the sensor signal at a second identified event point in the second time series, and depending on the comparison a component-specific fault information and an identification of the respective component are output.

Method and device for diagnosing a railroad switch with a point machine

A device for compensating for vibration and/or material stress of a component of a high-voltage system filled with a viscous medium includes a piston and a housing. A first end piece of the piston may be coupled to the component of the system. A second end piece of the piston may be at least partly within the housing and enclosed thereby, enabling movement of the piston and the housing in opposite directions along an axis. The second end piece may be coupled to an inner wall of the housing by at least one spring. The piston and the housing are surrounded by the medium filling the system. A method and computer program product for computer-aided design of a device for compensating for vibration and/or material stress of a component of the system filled with a viscous medium are also provided.
