The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for access control for object instances. A method includes receiving, at a cloud application, a user request associated with a user. The user request corresponds to an instance of a first application artifact type. Role assignments for the user are retrieved from a cloud platform and a determination is made that the role assignments grant permission to the first application artifact type to the user. A determination is made that a first instance-based access policy exists for the first application artifact type. A determination is made regarding whether the first instance-based access policy grants permission for the user to access the instance. The user request is serviced in response to determining that the first instance-based access policy grants permission for the user to access the instance. The use request is denied in response to determining that the first instance-based access policy does not grant permission for the user to access the instance.

Access control for object instances

Systems and methods for determining an overall message status in a message processing system having distributed message processing components. If there are no active status providers, the overall message status remains equal to an old status. If there is only one active status provider, an intermediate calculated status is equal to a message status of the active status provider. If there are more than one active status providers, an intermediate calculated status is equal to a highest priority message status among the active status providers. If there are one or more active status providers, the overall message status remains equal to the old overall message status if the old overall message status is a designated final status and if the old overall message status has a higher priority than that of the intermediate calculated status Otherwise, the overall message status is set equal to the intermediate calculated status.

Determining overall message status in a message processing system

The present disclosure relates to software, computer systems, and computer implemented methods for providing centralized process integration (PI) domain alert monitoring. One process includes identifying at least one alert rule at a central rules repository, the at least one alert rule associated with at least one message inter-communication within a process integration (PI) domain, where the PI domain includes at least one PI component, and where the message inter-communications within the PI domain occur between PI components. At least one alert consumer registration associated with at least one alert consumer system for an identified alert rule is identified. Information associated with the at least one identified alert rule from the central rules repository is distributed to the corresponding PI component associated with the message inter-communication linked to the alert rule and to the at least one registered alert consumer system.

Event-driven approach for collecting monitoring data of messaging systems

A method and system for central data querying are provided. A user parameter requesting data is retrieved. A device is determined based upon the user parameter. A query is generated based upon the user parameter. The query is executed in the device to extract the data.

Method and system for central data querying

In a distributed landscape, different levels of data caches, such as a memory cache and prefetch tables, are provided for storing status and other information about a remote system to a client. Status information may be provided to the client from a memory cache if available and up to date. The memory cache may be updated using information stored in the one or more prefetch tables or by reading the data from the remote system(s). The prefetch tables may be updated by reading information from the remote systems. The data caches are dynamically updated to store the most up-to-date status information available. The data stored in each data cache level may be updated at predetermined intervals or upon a request by the client. Status messages for the one or more remote systems selected are displayed, providing the client with a status overview of the distributed landscape.
