To operate electrical devices, power consumptions of all the electrical devices are continually captured and assigned to the individual electrical devices and at least one desired result is achieved by virtue of at least a first control instance of the electrical devices, the operation of which helps to achieve a desired result, and a second control instance of the electrical devices, the operation of which likewise helps to achieve the desired result. The devices are operated in a coordinated fashion. To this end, measured values from multiple measured value transmitters are captured by operating the multiple electrical devices. Correlations between changes in the measured values of the individual measured value transmitters over time and changes in the power consumptions of the individual electrical devices over time are determined and the desired result is selected from a subgroup of results.

Method and apparatus for operating electrical devices in mutually coordinated fashion

A method of building a wireless communication network between a plurality of pre-defined devices which include spatially distributed inverters for feeding electric energy into an AC power grid and which each have a spatially limited range in wireless communication is provided. The method includes the steps of assimilating the pre-defined devices for a limited period of time, and in the step of assimilating, generating at least one network ID and persistently storing the at least one network ID in each pre-defined device participating in the step of assimilating. The method further includes, after the step of assimilating, connecting each pre-defined device exclusively to such other pre-defined devices in which network IDs originating from the same step of assimilating are stored.

Wireless communication network between participants of an assimilation step

A power generation system for feeding power from generators into an AC grid, the system comprising a plurality of inverters connected to corresponding ones of the generators, and connected to the AC grid is disclosed. The plurality of inverters forms part of a data network, wherein one of the inverters forms a communication unit for receiving feed-in parameters from a grid control system and for controlling the plurality of inverters via the data network such that the power generation system feeds power to the AC grid in accordance with the feed-in parameters.
