A securing device for axles (2) in office machines, in particular in printers, with axle journals (2c), which axle journals (2c) are furnished with insertion grooves (2d) near their ends and which axles (2) are supported in side plane components (1) against an axial shifting by way of spring elements. An economic and assembly-friendly securing device is provided by having the axle (2), forming a shoulder (2b), and resting on the inside of the side plane component (1), where the axle journal (2c) can be inserted into an about elongatedly shaped opening (4) in the side plane component (1) following to the insertion groove (2d), such that the axle journal diameter (9) of the axle journal (2c) rests in a smaller circular opening (5) of the elongatedly shaped opening (4), where a spring-loaded tension element (10) can be positioned and inserted between the side plane component (1) and the axle journal (2c ) into the insertion groove (2d) passing over the axle journal diameter (9) at the side plane component (1) and where the spring-loaded tension element (10) can be tensioned in the insertion groove (2d) under spring tension crosswise to the axle journal (2c).

In a parallel setting device for a print head carriage guide relative to a print medium support (6) in printers, in particular in matrix printers, the print head carriage guide includes a parallel disposable and position adjustable carriage guide axle (5) relative to the print medium support (1) and disposed rearwards relative to the print medium support at the printer frame 1 and a front carriage guide axle (4) adjustable to a minimum distance and disposed opposite to the print medium support (6). The rear and the front carriage guide axle (4,5) in each case are supported in the side plate (2,3) of the printer frame (1). The print medium support (6) is disposed at a level different to that of the front carriage guide axle (4). In order to find a simple and more precise operating solution, which is based on measurable part steps, it is recommended, that the rear carriage guide axle (5) is supported in the side plates (2,3) with cams rings (13) and a parallel positioning between the print medium support (6) and the print head carriage guide is adjustable by one-sided lifting and lowering of the rear carriage guide axle (5).

A transport device for edge-perforated recording support material (1) comprises two casing parts (2, 6) disposed at a distance relative to the perforation edges (1a) for drivable endless pin belts (5) with respectively a guide flap (4) for the recording support material (1), where the casing in each case comprises two casing parts (2, 6) disposed next to one another, and where the guide flap (4) is tiltably disposed on a first casing part (2), where inner and outer guide ribs (7, 10, 11) for the pin belt (5) are provided, where aligned disposed means for the detachable attachment of the two casing parts (2, 6) are provided aligned at the first and the second casing parts (2, 6) where at least the inner guide ribs (7) form a rest contact surface (6a) for the second casing part (6).

A printer includes a platen (3), a print head (7) and a front carriage guide shaft (4) for supporting the print head and adjustable for selectively varying the print head-to-platen spacing. The guide shaft is mounted to the printer frame by an eccentric (11) and a setting lever (12) secured to the eccentric is selectively movable for adjusting the print head-to-platen spacing. A detent plate (13) is mounted to the printer frame (1, 2) and carries stops (14, 15) for limiting movement of the setting lever and, therefore, the print head-to-platen spacing adjustment. Releaseably engageable lock elements (16) on the detent plate and frame provide relative adjustability and retention of the position of the detent plate on the frame for setting the position of the front limit stop (15) and, thereby, the minimum permitted print head-to-platen spacing obtainable through movement of the setting lever.
