For each server under consideration for container migration, whether the server has a value for a first parameter that precludes the server from being migrated to a container is determined. Each server having a value that precludes the serve from being migrated to a container is removed from further consideration. For each server remaining under consideration, a value of the server for each second parameter of a number of second parameters is determined, and the values of the server for the second parameters are weighted to yield a weight for the server. The servers remaining under consideration for migration are ranked based at least on the weights for the servers, yielding an order in which the servers are to migrated.

Server-to-container migration

A computing device includes a processor and a medium storing instructions. The instructions are executable by the processor to: detect an information technology (IT) event associated with an IT system; determine an event class for the IT event; identify a plurality of event-procedure relations associated with the determined event class, each of the plurality of event-procedure relations having an associated success score; select a first event-procedure relation having a highest success score, wherein the first event-procedure relation specifies a relation between the determined event class and a first remediation procedure; and execute the selected first remediation procedure to remediate the IT event.

Automated remediation of information technology events

In one implementation, a system for managing data includes a tag engine to maintain associations among objects of a data set, an associates engine to identify a first set of objects having a tag that matches a tag coupled to a focal object, a filter engine to identify a second set of objects based on the filter evaluated on the first set of objects, and a load engine to cause the second set of objects to load for display in a window of a UI.
