A support arrangement for a leading-edge high lift device comprising a support arm for movably supporting the leading-edge high lift device on a wing structure. In order to accommodate the supply of the leading-edge high lift device with a fluid such as an anti-ice fluid, for example pressurized hot air, the support arm is configured as a fluid conduit for feeding fluid to and/or from the leading-edge high lift device. The leading-edge high lift device may be configured as a droop nose device.

A wing for an aircraft includes a leading edge, a trailing edge, an upper skin extending between the leading edge and the trailing edge, a lower skin extending between the leading edge and the trailing edge, at least one spar extending between the upper skin and the lower skin in a spanwise direction to create a wing box with the upper skin and the lower skin, and at least one droop nose at the leading edge, wherein the at least one droop nose is coupled with a forward end of a hinge arm that extends in a chordwise direction, and wherein a rearward end of the hinge arm is swivably supported directly at or in the wing box.

A flow body for an aircraft is disclosed having a stiffening structure and a flow surface at least partially enclosing the stiffening structure, the flow surface having a leading edge and a trailing edge at a distance to each other in a chordwise direction, the flow body including a first heating device attached to or integrated into the flow surface in a first chordwise section, a second heating device attached to or integrated into the surface body in a second chordwise section. The first chordwise section and the second chordwise section are distanced from each other, the first chordwise section is closer to the leading edge than the second chordwise section, and at least the second heating device comprises an electric heater.

A wing for an aircraft is disclosed including a fixed wing, a high-lift device and a hold-down arrangement arranged between two supports of the high lift device having a first hold-down element attached to the high-lift device and a second hold-down element attached to the fixed wing. The first hold-down element contacts the second hold-down element when the high-lift device is in a retracted position in which it prevents a trailing edge of the high-lift device from detaching from an upper surface of the fixed wing when the fixed wing deforms in the spanwise direction. One of the hold-down elements is a load-limited hold-down element which comprises a hydraulic element that is configured to allow the high-lift device to move away from the fixed wing when a load acting through the hold-down arrangement exceeds an operational threshold.

A wing for an aircraft, including a main wing, and a leading edge high lift assembly including a high lift body, and a connection assembly connecting the high lift body to the main wing such that the high lift body is movable relative to the main wing between stowed and deployed positions. The connection assembly includes a first connection element mounted to the high lift body and movably mounted to the main wing. The connection assembly includes a second connection element mounted to the high lift body spaced apart from the first connection element in a span direction, and movably mounted to the main wing. The connection assembly includes an additional support device arranged spaced apart from the first and second connection elements and configured to support the high lift body at the main wing against movement or deformation of the high lift body relative to the main wing.

A wing for an aircraft is disclosed including a fixed wing, a high-lift device and a hold-down arrangement arranged between two supports of the high lift device having a first hold-down element attached to the high-lift device and a second hold-down element attached to the fixed wing. The first hold-down element contacts the second hold-down element when the high-lift device is in a retracted position in which it prevents a trailing edge of the high-lift device from detaching from an upper surface of the fixed wing when the fixed wing bends in the spanwise direction. One of the hold-down elements is a load-limited hold-down element which comprises a biasing means. When the load transmitted through the hold-down arrangement exceeds an operational threshold, elastic deformation of the biasing element results in the hold-down arrangement no longer preventing the trailing edge high-lift device from detaching from the upper surface of the fixed wing.

A leading-edge component for an aircraft includes at least a part of a flow body having a front skin and a rib. The front skin comprises a top section, a bottom section and a leading edge arranged therebetween. The rib extends from the bottom section to the top section. The rib comprises a flange that at least partially surrounds the rib. The flange is attached to an inner side of the front skin. The at least one peripheral surface extends from the contact surface inwardly into the flow body and away from the inner side of the front skin or encloses a weakened connection region with the contact surface for bending inwardly into the flow body upon an impact onto the front skin on or adjacent to the at least one peripheral surface.

A piccolo tube for de-icing an airfoil structure of an aircraft is disclosed having a shape extending in a longitudinal direction and is configured for installation in an airfoil structure of an aircraft in the longitudinal direction of the airfoil structure. The piccolo tube includes a connector element for receiving heated air from a supply source, and a longitudinally extending air duct having a plurality of outlet openings arranged along the air duct, for supplying and distributing the heated air along the inner side of the airfoil structure. The piccolo tube is curved and its curvature is adapted to a curvature of the airfoil structure in its longitudinal direction. A de-icing system includes the piccolo tube and a supply source for supplying heated air to the piccolo tube. An airfoil structure includes the piccolo tube and/or the de-icing system.

A movable flow body device for an aircraft including an elongated flow body having a main extension axis, a first mechanical interface in a first position along the main extension axis, a second mechanical interface in a second position and a third mechanical interface in a third position. The first mechanical interface may be a master interface arranged in a central region, while the second and third mechanical interfaces are slave interfaces. Preferably, in the outboard position, a link plate between a support lever and a support rib of the flow body is inverted compared to the further inboard mechanical interface, which allows for supporting slimmer and longer flow bodies in the outboard region and providing a rigging hinge line through the whole flow body.

Leading-edge arrangement for an aircraft

A wing leading-edge device is disclosed having a slat body having a front side with a forward skin and a back side with a rearward skin, and at least a drive arrangement having at least one lug and a slat track, wherein the back side extends between an upper spanwise edge of the forward skin and a lower spanwise edge of the forward skin. The back side is defined by a continuously curved profile contour for receiving a fixed leading edge, and the at least one lug is at least partially arranged between the back side and the front side. The slat track is coupled with the first lug. The connection points to the slat body are shifted far forward to improve the load introduction and reduce moments acting on the drive mechanism.

A leading-edge arrangement for an aircraft is proposed, comprising a plurality of movable flow bodies, a supply duct, an air transfer duct, and at least one perforated tube. The movable flow bodies are arranged in a consecutive arrangement to form a row with a first end and a second end. The supply duct reaches into an interior of one of the flow bodies at the first end. The air transfer duct connects to the supply duct and extends at least through the interior of the respective flow body in the direction towards the second end. The at least one perforated tube is arranged inside at least one of the flow bodies that directly follows on. The at least one perforated tube is in fluid communication with the transfer duct. The transfer duct is configured to transfer air from the supply duct into the at least one perforated tube.

A flow body for an aircraft with an integrated de-icing system. The flow body includes a front skin, an internal structural component, a lever having first and second ends, with an attachment point in-between, and an actuator. The actuator is spaced inside the front skin. The lever extends from the actuator to a front skin inner surface, the first end coupling with the front skin, and the second end coupling with the actuator. The attachment point is swivably supported on the internal structural component. The attachment joint is closer to the first end than the second end. The lever and the actuator apply an impulsive force in a transverse direction to the lever, such that the lever rotates around the attachment point, and such the first end urges the front skin to locally elastically deform for removing ice accretion from an outer side of the front skin.
