As typical databases evolve and the schema defining the stored data changes, difficulties arise in interfacing with the database and compatibility to applications may be lost. Provided for are methods for retrieving data stored in a database using versioned reference perspectives of edges, which define relationships between nodes. The methods provide for backwards-compatibility in accessing node-data stored in accordance with a pre-defined schema based upon a request including a version identifier. Also provided for are backend systems, frontend systems, and industrial machines for the manipulation of work products.

Backwards-compatible method for retrieving data stored in a database using versioned reference perspectives of edges

A method for providing a framework to provide a basis for the realization of independently developed programs. The framework comprises at least one database table specification, each said database table specification being centrally provided and comprising a list of table fields, any selection of which can be selected by a program developer to derive an application specific database table including selected table fields taken from said database table specification and optionally one or more further application specific table fields. The framework automatically creates a basic database table and a program developer only concerns himself with said application specific database table and not with said basic database table. The method involves the use of inclusive and selective inheritance of database tables resulting in great flexibility and substantial benefits in practice.

Method for providing or operating a framework for the realization of independently developed programs

A filtering device for a spinning head for producing plastic threads. The spinning head has a housing in which the plastic melt flows through a filter element under pressure before exiting the spinnerets. The filter element is provided with a filtering material that is subjected to an axial contact pressure through a distributor device, according to the degree of pressure of the melt. This contact pressure acts upon the sealing edges of the filter element to close the sealing gaps. The special geometrical configuration of the filter element and/or its elasticity guarantee advantageous filtering in terms of energy. The filtering system is resistant to pressure and provides good, permanent sealing.

The invention relates to rylene dyes of the general formula (I), wherein the variables have the following meanings: R represents hydrogen; optionally substituted C -C alkyl-C -C -cycloalkyl, aryl or hetaryl; R&prime; represents optionally substituted C -C alkyl or C -C cycloalkyl, substituted methyl; and n is 0 or 1. The invention also relates to the preparation and use of said dyes for coloring highly molecular organic and inorganic materials and to 9-amino-perylene-3,4-dicarboxylic acid imides (Va) as their intermediate products.
