A household appliance is provided having a plurality of decorative external panels that provide reinforcement to and an exterior face of the appliance. At least one of the panels has a main body portion and an interior body portion integrally formed together from a common sheet of material. The interior body portion has a plurality of integral structural reinforcements formed from bending the sheet of material in the interior body portion adjacent the main body portion. The integral structural reinforcements can include a pair of opposed parallelly extending pillars each defining a columnar volume, and a pair of opposed rearwardly bent flanges each being bent to engage the pair of pillars to form a box frame adjacent to and integral with the main body portion. In preferred embodiments, the plurality of reinforced external panels together can define a chassis of the appliance.

An induction cooking hob () with illumination equipment includes a cover element () arranged at the top side of the induction cooking hob and including at least one heating zone, a chassis () arranged below the cover element () and at least one induction coil unit () having an induction coil (). The induction coil unit () is arranged below the at least one heating zone. According to the invention, a light emitting diode () is mounted to the center of the at least one induction coil unit (). Thermal conductive contact between the light emitting diode () and the chassis () is provided by a spring element () pressing at least a surface of the light emitting diode () onto the chassis ().

Induction cooking hob with illumination equipment

A frame is provided for supporting a hob plate of a hob. The frame includes a frame body and at least one mounting tongue depending from the frame body and extending from an underside thereof for connecting the frame to a chassis of a cooking appliance.

Cooking hob frame

A deflecting element is arranged in an oven door and aligned adjacent the ventilation openings to inhibit accidental spills through the openings from fouling interior door components. The deflecting element can have a plurality of tiered blades with associated respective channels for guiding and accumulating spills. One or several of the blades can have an angled deflector portion for guiding overflow liquid to a subjacent blade, away from interior glass panels. When the oven door is rotated into an upright position, closed position, liquid accumulated in the respective channels is conducted to the lateral edges of the door, where it can be guided via ducts out the base of the door or otherwise collected in removable reservoirs.

A regulator assembly which includes a housing for accommodating at least two regulators, wherein the housing has receptacles formed therein, into which the regulators can be inserted from an open side of the housing, where each receptacle has associated therewith retaining elements, which are positioned to elastically engage side faces of the regulator to be inserted into the receptacle so that the regulator is positioned and/or fixed in the receptacle.
