The present disclosure relates to a roof rack foot assembly for a roof rack including a carrier member for carrying a crossbar of the roof rack, and a bracket. The bracket is configured for attachment to a fix point attachment position of a vehicle by use of at least one fixation member. The bracket includes an engagement portion and a seat portion for the carrier member.

Roof rack foot assembly for a roof rack and a roof rack for a vehicle

Disclosed is a bike trailer having a main frame and a seat structure. The main frame defines an accommodating space for a passenger or load to be transported. The seat structure is transferable between an operational state in which the seat structure forms a seating area for the passenger, and a stowed state in which the seat structure is folded away thereby allowing the transport of loads other than passengers. The seat structure comprises a backrest portion with a seating side for at least partially contacting the back of a passenger. The backrest portion is accommodatable in the bike trailer such that at least the seating side of the backrest portion is protected against contact with loads to be carried when the seat structure is in the stowed state.

A load carrier bracket for coupling a load carrier foot to a vehicle is disclosed. The load carrier bracket has a vehicle engaging section and a trough-shaped coupling portion. The trough-shaped coupling portion extends from the vehicle engaging section in a longitudinal direction of the load carrier bracket and has a holder engaging section which is configured to be releasably engageable with a holder of the load carrier foot. The trough-shaped coupling portion is continuously convexly formed in its longitudinal direction such that it is configured to apply higher forces on an outer surface of the trough-shaped coupling portion.

The roof rack foot for a roof rack for a vehicle as disclosed herein comprises a body and a cross bar coupling member. The body comprises a support surface. The cross bar coupling member has a length extending in a longitudinal direction, and a height extending in a height direction. The cross bar coupling member comprises a length adjustment member. The length adjustment member extends in the longitudinal direction and has an elongated body portion and an axially aligned first end portion. The cross bar coupling member is configured to engage with the first end portion of the length adjustment member and to enable the length adjustment member to be fully or partly inserted into a cross bar end cavity when the cross bar coupling member is received in a roof rack cross bar in a retained position.

Disclosed are a load carrier foot for supporting a load bar on a vehicle, a load carrier bracket for coupling a load carrier foot to a vehicle and a load carrier comprising such a load carrier foot and a load carrier bracket. The load carrier foot comprises a holder adapted to receive the load carrier bracket. The holder comprises a sleeve portion defining an accommodating space which is configured to partially accommodate the load carrier bracket.

Disclosed is a load carrier foot for supporting a load bar on a vehicle. The load carrier foot comprises a locking mechanism for releasably locking the load bar on the load carrier foot. Furthermore, the locking mechanism is configured to automatically return into a locking state in which the load bar is locked on the load carrier foot.

Disclosed is a load carrier foot for supporting a load bar on a vehicle. The load carrier foot comprises a supporting member mountable to the load bar, a coupling member for coupling the load carrier foot to the vehicle and a tightening mechanism for tightening the coupling member. The tightening mechanism force transmittingly the couples the coupling member with the supporting member by a force distribution member. The force distribution member is configured to transfer a received input force on at least two force application sections while being translatory movably held with respect to each force application section.
