Systems and methods for allowing a remote third party to obtain data from and/or control one or more geofenced vehicles. In some implementations, a method for adjusting desired vehicle operation in a geofenced region may comprise receiving geofencing data from within a vehicle comprising a location tracking system and, upon determining that the vehicle has entered a geofenced region, transmitting a notification to an authority. Upon receiving a request from the authority, the vehicle may perform an action comprising at least one of adjusting an operational parameter of a system within the vehicle impacting movement of the vehicle, adjusting an environmental parameter of a system within the vehicle relating to sensing of the vehicle's surroundings, and transmitting vehicle environmental data to the authority comprising information regarding the vehicle's surroundings.

Systems and methods for vehicle geofencing management

A cover element () for an airbag unit having a stationary section, a first flap (), and a second flap (), wherein the first flap () is connected to the stationary section by at least one first hinge (), and the second flap () by at least one second hinge (). The two flaps () are connected to each other by a tear connection (). Device for damping vibrations of an airbag or an airbag apparatus

An attachment bracket for fastening an airbag to a vehicle structure includes an opening into which a strap connected to the airbag can be inserted, and a clamping surface provided for resting against the vehicle structure. The attachment bracket is formed from at least a first layer forming the clamping surface and a second layer spaced from the first layer in a spring elastic manner. The first and the second layers can be located on the same side of the vehicle structure. The attachment bracket can be fastened to the vehicle structure by a fastening means. The distance between the first and the second layer can be reduced by fastening the attachment bracket with the fastening means. A clamping force acting between the first layer and the vehicle structure can be generated by reducing the distance.

Attachment bracket and fastening device for fastening an airbag to a vehicle structure

An airbag arrangement with an inflatable curtain airbag for a vehicle includes fixation elements to fix the inflatable curtain airbag to the interior side structure of the vehicle. The airbag further includes an inflatable area to cover parts of the interior side structure of the vehicle. A fender airbag is provided adjacent to the inflatable area and/or the fixation elements of the inflatable curtain airbag. The fender airbag is inflated with a time delay with respect to the inflation of the inflatable area of the inflatable curtain airbag.

Airbag arrangement

A fixing clamp for fixing an airbag on a gas generator includes a first support portion adapted to the outer shape of the gas generator and a second wrapping portion extending from the support portion. The wrapping portion with its free end can be connected to the support portion. The wrapping portion is designed to be extensible.

An air-bag cover arrangement is disclosed which comprises a moveable cover element () for covering an air-bag module (), and design element () which is positioned adjacent the cover element. The design element has an overlapping part () which overlaps part of the cover element. The arrangement is characterised in that the cover element is moveable relative to the design element but is held by a stop element () in a rest position in which the cover element does not contact the overlapping part of the design element but rather a space from the design element.

An air-bag arrangement is disclosed which comprises an air-bag (), an aperture () communicating with the interior of the air-bag (), and a gas generator () to generate gas to inflate the air-bag (). The gas generator () is mounted for pivotal movement about a pivot axis extending across the aperture () so that the gas generator () is pivotally moveable between a closed position in which at least part of the gas generator () extends across the aperture (), to close the aperture (), and an open position in which said aperture () is opened to permit the flow of gas from the air-bag ().

Air-bag arrangement

An air-bag arrangement includes an air-bag and a gas generator to supply gas to inflate the air-bag. The gas generator is hingedly connected to a support and is hingedly movable between a closed position in which the gas generator extends across and closes an aperture, and a second position in which the apertured is opened to permit the flow of gas from the air-bag. The gas generator is initially retained in position by a retainer the retainer being actuable, in response to a signal, to enable the gas generator to move hingedly to the open position.

A steering-wheel has an air-bag in it mounted in position by means of connecting pins which are received within housings provided on the frame of the steering-wheel adjacent of the hub of the steering-wheel. The periphery of a cover of the air-bag unit is provided with a moulded bead with co-operates with locating pins provided on the steering-wheel frame adjacent to the end of the cover so that the cover is maintained in a desired position.
