A method for adapting a workflow of a content management system comprises setting an allowed action for a user, creating at least one information item depending on the allowed action for the user, in which the at least one information item comprises content to be published and a first information item status level indicative of a present status level of the content within the workflow, and executing the workflow which comprises stages each corresponding to a respective information item status level, such that a next stage of the workflow is determined based on a combination of different types of user status information, indicative of a status of the user, and the first information item status level.

Adapting a workflow

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for inferred user identity in content distribution. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for inferred user identity in content distribution includes retrieving a set of data of a particular classification from a data store of a computing device of an unidentified user requesting access to content in a content distribution system. The method further includes comparing the set of data of the particular classification to known patterns of data of the particular classification corresponding to different known users. The method yet further includes inferring an identity of the unidentified user based upon at least a partial matching of the compared set of data of the particular classification and known patterns of data of the particular classification. Finally, the method includes managing user interactions of the unidentified user based upon the inferred identity.

Inferred user identity in content distribution

A method for consolidating reusable image components with multi-media contents is provided. The method includes defining a location in a content template for storing a library of reusable image components and multi-media contents. The method further includes transmitting at least one multi-media content of a digital asset management environment, wherein the transmitted at least one multi-media content is stored in the defined location of the content template with the library of reusable image components. The method further includes determining if the selected at least one multi-media content was transmitted, stored and, is present in the defined location of the content template. The method further includes generating in the defined location of authoring content template, another library of reusable image components of the at the least one multi-media content, if the at least one multi-media content is not confirmed present in the defined location of the content template.

A method, computer program product, and computer system for receiving, by a computing device, a selection of one or more presentation templates of a plurality of presentation templates for at least a portion of a web page, wherein the one or more presentation templates define, at least in part, a display format for one or more display types. System and method for web content presentation management

Content-type-aware web pages are provided. One or more content items that are associated with a web page are identified based, at least in part, on web page metadata. One or more content templates that are associated with the web page are identified based, at least in part, on the web page metadata. Each of the one or more content items are filtered into either a first group or a second group based, at least in part, on the one or more content templates. Each content item in the first group is associated with at least one of the one or more content templates. Each content item in the second group is not associated with the one or more content templates. Instructions to render the content items in the first group are generated based, at least in part, on the one or more content templates.
