An assembling arrangement serves for securing a tubular furniture leg to the top plate of a piece of furniture. The assembling arrangement comprises a through opening formed in the top plate, a top mounting, which spans the through opening on the top side of the top plate, a bottom mounting, which spans the through opening on the bottom side of the top plate and is attached to the leg, a first bore formed through the top mounting and a second bore formed through the bottom mounting in line with the first bore, a screw having a shaft extending downwards in the leg via the first bore, the through opening and the second bore, a nut for the screw shaft placed in the leg, and an anchoring mechanism for firmly anchoring the nut in the leg in the secured state of the leg. The assembling arrangement is inexpensive and strong and can advantageously be used for mounting legs upon cantilever tables and chairs.

Assembling arrangement for securing a tubular furniture leg to the top plate of a piece of furniture

A device for inflating a tire having gone flat to a wanted pressure and for sealing and inflating a puncture tire. The device includes a compressed-air source, a tubular container filled with a sealing agent, and a first conduit having an adapter at its second end for connecting the conduit to a valve on the tire. The container furthermore has an inlet opening for passage of compressed air from the compressed-air source and an outlet opening for passage of sealing agent. The container is enclosed by a tubular cylinder having at one end an aperture closed by a cover. The cover is mounted displaceable on the cylinder between a first operative position and a second operative position. Thereby, it is obtained that the device is quick and easy to operate. Sealing and inflating of a puncture tire are done in between one and three minutes. Packed up, the device takes up practically no space whereby the heavy and bulky spare wheel is made unnecessary. Thereby, the space and load capacity previously occupied by the spare wheel is utilized.

Device for sealing and inflating an inflatable object

The invention relates to a floor with strips each defining a length and width and along the side and end edges provided with either end tongue or groove. The floor is laid in groups each including a number of tongue and groove assembled strips fastened to a subfloor by means of at least one fastener such as a screw or nail which is driven into the subfloor via at least one stepped transverse hole designed with at least one step in the respective strip and resting against the at least one step with a fastener head covered by a cover plug in the transverse hole. In mounted position, the plug is so stuck that it cannot be stepped down into the transverse hole by e.g. a spike heel which will not be able to damage or break the plug either, as the plug is made of a strong and durable metal such as e.g. bronze or steel. The length of each strip is longer than the width of the strip multiplied by the number of strips in a group. The strips engage each other in a strong and at the same time beautiful braided pattern.

Floor tile flooring connected by tongue and groove-joints and covered fasteners

A device serving for sealing and inflating an inflatable object provided with an inflation valve, for example a tire. The device is of the kind that includes a pressure gas source and a container containing a sealing agent. In addition, the device includes a reversing valve for opening a first connection between the pressure gas source and the inflation valve of the object in a first position and a second connection between the pressure gas source and the container and further between this container and the inflation valve of the object in a second position. In one mode of operation, the device can be used for inflating an object having gone flat to a specified pressure, while in a second mode of operation, it can be used for sealing and inflating a punctured object. Thereby, the heavy and bulky spare wheel which drivers conventionally have in the car is rendered dispensable.

A hand-held drill that includes a casing with a rotatably journaled driving spindle for during operation rotating a driven spindle on a turret head having at least two driven spindles. The drill also has a first coupling part on the driven spindle and an opposite second coupling part connected in a non-rotatable manner to the driving spindle and movable between a connected and disconnected position in relation to this driving spindle, and a guideway with a slide movably received in the guideway. The second coupling part is rotatably extending through a channel in the slide but is secured in this channel against axial movement. Furthermore, the drill comprises one locking notch in the turret head for each driven spindle and a locking pawl on the slide. When one of the driven spindles are coupled with the driving spindle, the locking pawl simultaneously locks the turret head on the casing of the drill. The drill according to the invention has a simple and stably functioning structure and is easy and safe to operate.

Hand-held turret drill

A backpack vacuum cleaner comprising a housing with a compartment for a filter bag, a connection branch for a suction hose, a hip strap to be applied around the hips of the bearer and a pair of shoulder straps. In order to only limit as little as possible the freedom of movement of the bearer with respect to the upper part of his body and arms when using the vacuum cleaner, and at the same time to provide a vacuum cleaner with a comparatively big filter bag and a subsequent big cleaning capacity, the housing is divided in two, the two parts being connected with a flexible connection allowing a tilting movement between the two parts, the hip strap being fastened to the lower part and the shoulder straps being mutually interconnected with an equalizing device for equalizing differences in tension between the two straps.
