A device for conveying a cap-type capping elements, which are pushed aeraulically to circulate the capping elements in a forward direction. In example embodiments, the device includes firstly an elongate plenum in which a gaseous fluid circulates, and secondly a channel in which the capping elements circulate in a forward direction and that has a front face, a rear face, and two edge faces. In example embodiments, the device comprises an aeraulic circuit to convey the gaseous fluid from the plenum to the channel to push the capping elements, the rear face of said channel being arranged against the plenum and the front face thereof being at least partially closed by a back-plate of the device. In example embodiments, the back-plate may be removable.

Conveying of a capping element

A conveyor which can be used to route oriented objects, such as caps, covers, lids, etc. from a finishing machine of the type including a belt, a vibrating bowl or other. The conveyor includes a module having a vertical conveyor in the form of a column with an adjustable height and an intermediate conveyor in the form of a casing which is disposed between the finishing machine and the column. In addition, the module includes channel-type devices for guiding the objects and devices for propelling the objects, in the form of jets of air pulsed through eyes. The channel and the eyes form a continuous assembly between the finishing machine and the upper end of the column. The conveyor also includes devices enabling the automatic ejection of objects from grooves provided in the belt of the machine.

Conveyor for a preparation machine used to orient objects

An improvement to finishing machines that are used to orient objects. The finishing machine includes a hopper for receiving loose objects, such as lids, and an endless belt for extracting the lids from the hopper. The belt moves vertically upwards with the lids and sorts the lids automatically, such that only correctly-oriented lids are retained. The machine is also equipped with a combined system for ejecting and conveying oriented lids, including: a plate which covers the upper part of the belt and which extends laterally beyond the belt, downstream thereof, in order to support the lids as they are ejected from the grooves in the belt; devices for ejecting the lids from the grooves and for subsequently conveying same beyond the grooves downstream, the ejection devices including jets of propellant fluid which pass through the plate by an arrangement of eyes; and a casing which is disposed on the plate and into which the propellant fluid is introduced and maintained under pressure by a turbine, the casing extending over the entire surface of the plate. In addition, the downstream part of the casing includes a routing conveyor with an adjustable height, which transports the oriented lids toward the use stations.
