The cooling pack assembly includes, a shroud, a fan, a first heat exchanger, and a second heat exchanger. The shroud has a plurality of sidewalls including a main sidewall. The shroud further defines an aperture. The fan is disposed within the aperture. The fan is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The rotational axis is normal to a plane defined by the main sidewall. The first heat exchanger is disposed on at least one of the plurality of sidewalls. The first heat exchanger has a first cross-sectional area substantially parallel to the plane. The second heat exchanger is disposed on at least one the plurality of sidewalls. The second heat exchanger has a second cross-sectional area substantially parallel to the plane. The second cross-sectional area is less than the first cross-sectional area, and the first heat exchanger is disposed between the fan and the second heat exchanger.

Cooling pack assembly

An electric motor including a housing, a busbar, an end plate, and a contact adapter. The housing may include a shield that may define an aperture. The busbar may extend from a stator towards the aperture and the busbar may be disposed within the housing. The contact adapter may include a base member, a contact member, and a protrusion. The contact member may extend from the base member and contact the busbar. The protrusion may extend from the base member and the protrusion may be sandwiched between the shield and the end plate.

Electric motor contact adapter

An electric motor has a switching unit with a number of contact wires and an annular frame part. The contact wires are arranged to form an interconnect ring for the coil ends of a stator winding and the ends of the wires being connected by insulation displacement contacts. Each of the contacts have two insulation displacement limbs for connecting at least two of the wire ends, the limbs being spaced apart, thus forming an insulation displacement slot therebetween. The frame part of the switching unit has a number of plug-in pockets for receiving the insulation displacement contacts, the number corresponding to the number of insulation displacement contacts.
