A modular organizer includes a plurality of walls, two faceplates, and a plurality of shelves. In a storage mode, the walls and shelves of the organizer are stored within the containing walls of the faceplates. The containing walls of the faceplates are each equipped with an exterior edge that presents an uneven outline. When the uneven outlines of each faceplate are positioned adjacent each other, a substantially sealed interface is created containing the walls and shelves within. In an organizer mode, the walls are supported by, and serve to separate the faceplates. The shelves are placed within the structure formed by the walls and are positionable between a display and storage position. Each faceplate of each modular organizer is identically configured to incorporate at least one post and hole pair. When one modular organizer is placed adjacent another, the post of one engages the hole of the other and vice-versa allowing a user to fashion virtually any desired modular organizing unit to fit a specific space, e.g., side-by-side, top-to-bottom and bottom-to-top positioning of multiple modular organizers.

Modular organizer

A shelving connector has symmetrical arms for locking insertion into metal shelving. The shelving and the connector preferably include radiused surfaces for safety and attractive appearance. The radiused edges of the metal shelving serve a dual function of stiffening the shelving and providing a receiver for arms projecting from the connector. The connector preferably has resilient tabs which are captured in apertures in the receivers. The connector can be advantageously formed from injection molded ABS plastic.

Stackable tray for paper stock and drawings

A stackable tray for paper stock, drawings sheets, or the like comprising a bottom panel, opposing side walls extending upwardly from the bottom panel along the side edges thereof, and front and walls extending upwardly from the bottom panel along the front and rear edges thereof. The front wall is comprised of a pair of spaced apart front wall segments defining an opening traversing substantially the length of the tray. The walls define a top ledge extending upwardly and a bottom ledge extending downwardly. The top and bottom ledges are sized and positioned so that the top ledge of one tray is received within and bounded by the bottom ledge of a like tray when the trays are stacked, or vice versa. The bottom panel defines a plurality of recesses aligned in rows and columns. A cross brace traverses each tray and is received within a recess formed in the underside of the bottom panel. The walls and bottom panel are molded to form inner and outer shell segments with a hollow cavity therebetween, with the lower shell segment of each square recess extending upwardly adjacent to the upper shell segment of the bottom panel. The trays may be stacked with the openings facing the same or opposing directions relative to one another. Each tray will support a large weight of paper stock without flexing or bending to obstruct the opening of a tray lower in the column, and without breaking or becoming dislodged.

A cabinet and container assembly comprising an enclosed cabinet having an upper opening and a lower opening. The upper opening is equipped with a pivotal disposal door. The lower opening has a hinged door, and is dimensioned such that a wheeled container may be positioned inside and locked within the cabinet. The pivotal door can be pulled forward to an open position presenting a horizontal tray on which waste materials may be rested, with the waste materials sliding along a top chute surface of the pivotal door when it is pivoted upwardly to a closed position, the waste materials sliding rearwardly and downwardly along the chute surface and across the rear edge of the pivotal door, thereby falling downwardly into the center of the open topped container. An curved upper partition positioned within the interior of the cabinet above the pivotal door and closely adjacent the read edge thereof prevents a person from reaching inside the cabinet and accessing the container when the door is paritally opened. The pivotal door provides an handgrip opening generally in the shape of an inverted triangle which may be comfortable gripped by persons of different heights. The container includes a hinged and lockable lid which provides handgrip openings when the lid is open or closed, and castered wheels for rolling the container. The containers may be positioned on a transport cart with the castered wheels engaging the frame members of the cart, or stacked in a column on their sides for transit.

A cabinet and container assembly comprising an enclosed cabinet having an upper opening and a lower opening. The upper opening is equipped with a pivotal disposal door. The lower opening has a hinged door, and is dimensioned such that a wheeled container may be positioned inside and locked within the cabinet. A tote container for perishable produce such as asparagus comprising a pair of identical molded end shells which form the side walls of the tote container, with an intermediate blank cut and scored from a sheet material such as double-faced corrugated plastic extending between and securely attached to each of the end shells. The blank is folded to form a bottom panel, back panel, pivoting top lid and front lid panels, and a front tray panel to the tote container. The tote container defines a receptacle region with an open top and front, and the blank defines a bottom tray portion within that receptacle region.

A cabinet is disclosed which includes a frame defining a cabinet interior. A plurality of dividers separate the cabinet interior into a plurality of storage compartments. The frame includes opposing side walls and top and bottom walls. The top wall is attached to the side walls by first and second mounting plates carried on the side walls and top wall, respectively. The first plate is resiliently urged against the side wall. The second plate is sized to be received between the first plate and the side wall, with latch mechanisms for holding the attaching plates in position.

Organizer cabinet

A container and pallet assembly comprising a generally rectangular pallet with a pair of end walls and a pair of side walls mounted thereon. The container may be folded between an upright container configuration and a collapsed stored configuration. Each end or side wall is constructed from double-faced corrugated plastic sheet material cut and scored to form a blank having hingedly interconnected inner, intermediate, and outer wall panels, lid flaps, and attachment panels. The side or wall panels may be slidably mounted on the pallet using a combination of slots in the associated attachment panels and push-type fasteners to facilitate folding to the stored configuration. The end or side wall blanks may also define internal reinforcing structures for supporting the containers when stacked in a vertical column, and securing structures for fastening the end and side walls in the upright container configuration. The panels of the end and side walls may also form an upwardly projecting peripheral rim which can be engagingly received in a channel defined along the underside of the pallet.

Collapsible container and pallet assembly

A tamper-proof display holder for magnetic tape cassettes incorporates a cassette storage compartment having a cassette insertion opening in one end. After a cassette is inserted into the storage compartment, the opening is blocked against cassette removal by an elongated stop member forced through an aperture in one of the compartment walls so as to extend across the trailing side of the cassette with respect to the direction of cassette insertion. The stop member is firmly fixed in place in the aperture.

Containers are designed for utilization of the otherwise wasted space provided between structural members of buildings such as joists and studs. Flaps may be folded into or out of position to vary the width of the container depending on the exact distance between structural members. A drawer-like container may be used between joists and a cabinet with door may be mounted between studs.

A flat file having a number of drawers is formed of a shell having a number of shelves therein for locating the various drawers of the flat file. The shelves are located by means of shelf support members formed of corrugated board having portions which are slotted and folded into place so as to locate the shelves.

The container will hold up to two cassettes or one eight-track and is designed so that once the merchandise has been inserted, the container is closed permanently and must be cut or otherwise destroyed in order to remove the merchandise, such removal to take place by the consumer at home after purchase.
