In a combination of a garment hanger and a reusable indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator can be attached to and removed from a lower neck region of the hanger where a hanger post intersects the hanger body. The hanger includes an indicator retaining member for providing indicator retaining interference with the indicator to retain the indicator at the lower neck region. The hanger further includes structure for providing pivots upon which the indicator can be flexed to remove the indicator from the hanger. The indicator can include a discontinuity for admitting a hanger hook and assisting deformation of the indicator. The indicator can be deformed along the discontinuity to remove the indicator from the hanger.

A combination of a top garment hanger and a reusable snap-on pad is provided. The hanger has a lateral opening formed through the body of the hanger. The lateral opening has an inwardly extending surface for providing a first locking surface. The reusable snap-on pad has a pair of legs and a locking tab provided on an inner surface of each leg. The locking tab has a second locking surface. When the reusable snap-on pad is mounted to the garment hanger, the locking tab enters the lateral opening and the first locking surface and the second locking surface engage each other, to provide a secure fixation of the reusable snap-on pad to the garment hanger. Also, when the reusable snap-on pad is mounted to the garment hanger, a slot is formed between the pad and the hanger for receiving a portion of a garment.

In a lower neck sizer for a garment hanger and a combination turnable wire hook hanger and lower neck sizer, the lower neck sizer includes a body dimensioned to generally surround a cylindrical projection and the support flanges adjacent to the body flange of the hanger, and an inwardly extending tab secured to the sizer body configured to engage the hanger at the lower neck region to resist removal. The lower neck sizer also has a discontinuity traversing the height of the body to facilitate mounting on the hanger.

A combination hanger and indicator, or either of them separately, the hanger with a body and a post extending upward from the body, the intersection of the post and the body defining a lower neck region of the hanger, the post having a flange extending outward from the post at a position removed from the body of the hanger. An indicator includes a pair of opposing side walls connected by a pair of opposing end walls, with an opening in the top of the indicator, the opening defined at least in part by a displaceable resilient tab, preferably two positioned on opposite sides of the indicator, attached to one of the side walls or end walls, wherein displacement of the tab enlarges the opening to admit the flange. At least some portion of the post between the flange and the body is smaller than the flange to reduce the displacement of the tab.

In a combination of an intimate apparel hanger and an indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator is mounted to a lower neck region of the hanger where the hanger hook intersects the hanger body. The hanger has a flange, having a sloped surface and an undersurface. The indicator has a resilient tab disposed in a wall of the indicator body. The resilient tab is outwardly displaced by the sloped surface to expand the top opening of the indicator to allow the indicator to pass over the flange. The undersurface of the flange retains the indicator at the lower neck region after the indicator passes over the flange.

In a lightweight intimate apparel hanger, the hanger body has a first arm extending from a hook of the hanger to a first end of the body and a second arm extending from the hook to a second end of the body. The first arm and the second arm body each have an upper flange, a lower flange and a middle web connecting the upper flange and the lower flange. The first arm has a height H defined as from the upper flange to the lower flange and a width W defined as the width of the upper flange and the lower flange, the ratio of the width W to the height H (W/H) larger than 1. The hanger can has a top sizer attaching means for attaching a top sizer or a lower neck sizer attaching means for attaching a lower neck sizer.

A slip-on hook, having a hook portion and a body portion connected to the hook portion, is provided. The slip-on hook releasably retains an elongated material of an article. The hook portion of the slip-on hook engages a supporting bar for hanging the article for illustration purposes. The body portion of the slip-on hook engages the elongated material of the article. The body portion has an upper flange, an opposite lower flange, and a connecting web partially connecting the upper flange and the lower flange in the middle of the flanges. Spaces are provided between the upper flange and the lower flange at either side of the connecting web for receiving the elongated material of the article.

A coordinate set hanger has a primary hanger with a first body, a hook extending upward from the first body, a first means for suspending a garment from the first body, and a first connection tab extending downward from the body, operative to releasably suspend a dependent hanger therefrom. A connection link having a locking end at each end thereof, the locking end having at least one snap lock with at least one horizontal surface is releasably attachable to at least a connection tab of a primary hanger. A dependent hanger has a body and a second means for suspending a garment from the second body, and a second connection tab extending upward from the second body. The second connection tab is operative to releasably secure the locking end of the connecting link therein. In other embodiments, the component parts of the coordinate set hanger are modular, or may include a dependent loop for integration with existing hanger stock.
