A multi-task single-pass agricultural tillage implement has a plurality of independently engageable and adjustable soil working components successively mounted on a mainframe. The mainframe has a wheel assembly which raises and lowers a plurality of wheels. The mainframe also includes a tongue assembly coupleable to a towing vehicle and a frame pivoting angle adjustment mechanism. Each of the soil working components can be independently and selectively operated separately or in combination with any one or more of the plurality of working components such that each of the plurality of soil working components is independently, selectively operated for optimized single pass tillage. An open spiral chopping reel assembly for use in an agricultural field preparation implement is also disclosed.

Universal custom agricultural field preparation implement

A low till agricultural implement has a frame with a hitch for attachment to a tractor. An shallow-angled blade gang composed of an array of parallel ultra-shallow inclined disk blades is mounted to the front of the frame, and is followed by at least one wheel, spiral reel, and spike tooth harrow. The ultra-shallow inclined disk blades are mounted perpendicular to rotating shafts, and slice through field residue and soil with minimal lateral movement of material. The blades of the following reel then make cuts nearly perpendicular to those made by the circular blades. A trailing rolling basket or other finishing implement follows the spiral reel. The implement aids in drying the soil surface layer. Also, by cutting up residue and evenly spreading debris and topsoil, the implement helps to warm up the soil.

Low-disturbance tillage tool

A low till agricultural implement has a frame with a hitch for attachment to a tractor. A straight coulter composed of an array of parallel circular blades is mounted to the front of the frame, and is followed by a spiral reel assembly and a spike tooth harrow assembly. The circular blades are mounted perpendicular to rotating shafts, and slice through field residue and soil with minimal side movement of material. The blades of the following reel then make cuts nearly perpendicular to those made by the circular blades. A trailing level bar follows the spiral reel. The implement aids in drying the soil surface layer, and, by cutting up residue and even spreading, the implement helps to warm up the soil.

Low-till harrow implement

A hitch for connecting a first implement to a second implement pulled behind a tractor is disclosed which has a first parallel linkage assembly with two upright members with upper and lower portions, the upper portions of the upright members being connected by an upper follower arm and the lower portions of the upright members being pivotally connected by a lower follower arm. One upright member is adapted to rigidly connect to the second implement. A central horizontal member has two opposed ends and front and rear sides. An upright member of the first parallel linkage is rigidly connected to the front side of the horizontal member. Ground engaging caster wheels are pivotally mounted on each end of the horizontal member. A second parallel linkage has two upright members with upper and lower portions. The upper portions of the upright members are pivotally connected by an upper lifting arm and the lower portions of the upright members are pivotally connected by a lower lifting arm. One upright member is rigidly connected to the rear side of the horizontal member and the other upright member is adapted to connect to the first implement. An actuator is mounted between the central member and the second parallel linkage and adapted to move a connected first implement between a first lowered, ground-engaging position and an elevated position, wherein the weight of the first implement is substantially carried by the caster wheel. The hitch may be employed for connecting a harrow or drag behind a tractor-pulled disc tiller.
