A vertically adjustable hinge includes a first leaf rotatably connected to a leaf assembly. The leaf assembly defines an opening with at least a first inclined surface and includes a block received in the opening. The block defines a threaded hole and at least a second inclined surface abutting the first inclined surface. A leaf assembly housing receives the leaf assembly and the block. The leaf assembly housing defines screw holes for receiving a screw that passes through the threaded hole. A rotation of a screw in the threaded hole causes a horizontal translation of the block, which in turn causes a vertical translation of the leaf assembly.

Vertical adjustable hinge

A multi point door lock device featuring a casing adapted to operatively engage the communicating components of the door lock. A removably engageable latch module slidably engages with the casing. A latch is reversibly engaged into the latch module with an allen screw and allows for user reversal to accommodate different door installations. The latch module also provides a switch for changing between first and second modes of operation to provide an external day latch function. The switching lever protrudes through the face plate on the side of the door.

Multi point door lock assembly

A latch for a window sash includes a fixed plate and a latch head slidably coupled to the fixed plate. The latch head is symmetrically spring loaded to minimize rotation when the latch head translates. When the latch head retracts toward the fixed plates, hooks from the latch head engage notches on the fixed plate to lock the latch head in a retracted position. This releases the latch head from a strike so the window sash can be opened. The latch further includes a plunger centrally received in the fixed plate and the latch head. When the plunger retracts toward the fixed plate, sloped shoulders from the plunger disengages the hooks of the latch head from the notches on the fixed plate. This releases the latch head to engage the strike so the window sash is locked.

Auto latch for window sash

A two point lock includes two pivotally mounted security hooks having sliding faces that engage sliding faces of a spring-loaded mishandling pin when the mishandling pin is vertically extended and the security hooks are rotatably retracted. The mishandling pin is vertically retracted when it abuts a jamb. When the mishandling pin is vertically retracted, the sliding faces disengage so that the security hooks can rotate to lock onto a striker on the jamb. Thus, the mishandling pin prevents the security hooks from being slammed into the striker before a door or a window is fully closed.

Two point lock for doors and windows

A door hinge adapted to provide vertical and depth adjustments of an engaged door with a door frame. The hinge features a first hinge member adapted for fixed recessed engagement to a side edge of a door jam which is rotationally engaged with a support member extending from a second hinge member adapted for engagement to the door. Adjustment of height and depth of the door inside the door jam is easily achieved by rotation of adjustment screws accessible from a single surface that is visible when the second hinge member is engaged to the door.

Two-stage adjustable door hinge

An adjustable two piece hinge having a first hinge member for attachment to a wall surface and a second hinge member attachable to a door. The device is adjustable by rotating the hinge pin which communicates thorough two off-center cooperating apertures communicating axially through two body bushings located inside the second hinge member. Rotating the hinge pin rotates the circular body bushings inside the second hinge member thereby translating the second hinge member around the center axis of said first hinge member and toward and away from the first hinge member due to the eccentric formed by the off center apertures inside of a circular bushing. The device can optionally be supplied with a kit featuring a plurality of different body bushings having the off center apertures a different distance off center.

Adjustable hinge

A hinge has first and second hinge members interconnected by an axle that allows relative rotation between them. Each hinge member has screw holes allowing the hinge member to be connected to a leaf or a frame. The screw holes of one hinge member are protected by a cover that can only be removed when the hinge members have a specific relative disposition. This provides a security feature.
